🤍 The kindest things you could ever say to a therapist are...

“You make me feel comfortable. I feel safe around you. I never feel judged by you”

Its sad to think that most people never get to feel this way in their lives...

And even more sad that you crave this comfort and safety from the people you love, but they’re usually the ones who shame and judge you the most.

Go be that person that people don’t need to feel guarded around. Become emotionally intelligent..

“If you can be anything today, go out there and be kind”.. We all have s**t going on and wounds we are trying to heal, we’re all guarded in some way, shape and form.

🌿MEET THE THERAPIST 🌿. 🌿 A bit about me
My journey into therapy has been shaped by my own lived experiences, and they’ve played a meaningful role in the therapist I’ve become. I didn’t arrive in this profession by accident — it grew out of a deep curiosity about people, resilience, and the ways we make sense of our lives.
Over the years, I’ve navigated challenges that taught me the value of being truly heard and understood. Those moments helped me appreciate how transformative a safe, supportive space can be. They also sparked my commitment to offering that same space to others.

🌿How do I work?

First and foremost, I meet you where you are in your current life journey and create a safe and supportive space for you. Together, we can work towards helping you feel more empowered, confident, and revitalized. My approach to therapy is designed to help you gain clarity about your feelings and toward building the life you truly deserve. 🌿 Neurolinguistic Programming

I use NLP and trauma-informed therapy to help you heal, let go of anything holding you back, and start living the life you’ve been dreaming of.

Name it and let the people around you support you. ✨ Put your hand on your heart, close your eyes and breathe. Remind yourself that I’m okay, I’m safe and I’m loved. ✨Remind yourself that you are not stuck in this. I have 3 things this week to celebrate 🥳
1. Feeling grateful that I have signed up 3 new clients this week that I can help and support. ✔️
2. Completed my CPD course in Trauma and Terminal Ambivalence. ✔️
3. I have found a beautiful new room to hold my clients sessions from that has a calming relaxing feel to it 🌿🙏🏻✔️
Celebrating our small wins is something we all need to do as it boosts dopamine, increases motivation, and builds confidence. Now isn’t that worth celebrating! 🥳

Today has been about slowing down and taking time for myself. Slowing down isn’t a luxury — it’s how the nervous system finds its way back to safety.
When you pause, breathe, and soften your pace, your body finally gets the signal that it’s allowed to relax.
Today, I’m choosing gentler rhythms. Less rushing. More presence.
Your nervous system will thank you for every moment you give it to settle. When dealing with trauma the nervous system is supported by getting out into nature and slowing down which helps the body to shift out of survival mode and back into states where the body can rest, repair and reconnect. What’s the one small thing that you can do to calm your mind? 🌿🫶🏼

9 Things I do NOT care about when you come to see me in Therapy:

1: APPEARANCE! Joggers, hoodies or a suit you’re here today and that’s what matters!

2: TMI: There is no such thing as too much info in your session, Trust me, I’ve Heard it all.

3: BEING UNFILTERED: Please be my guest, go for it. Expression is a part of therapy.

4: FALLING APART: If you can’t do it in therapy then where else are you going to fall apart?

5: CHALLENGING ME: Tell me when something doesn’t feel right so I can understand.

6: SPEAK BADLY ABOUT FAMILY: They are not all saints and you don’t worship them. If they hurt you then you have every right to share your story.

7: DARK HUMOR: Go for it! If it’s a coping mechanism and helps then a little laughter between the tears is okay.

8: YOUR VIEWS: that’s your choice, I’m not here to judge and I’m not your parent.

9: SKELETONS IN THE CLOSET: Well we all have them and most of us have a walk-in wardrobe!!
