Last week John joined Luke from Life Church who were out in the community delivering a 'cracking' 5,000 Easter Eggs to children in schools across the Wirral.

Community working together looking after our local community, it’s a great example of community coming together and looking after one another, just one small way we can give back and make a difference locally.

Staff Appreciation Post: Introducing Steve Duggan.

Steve has dedicated the past 10 years to working in the funeral industry. Beginning his career as a casual worker at Thomas McMullan Funeral Services in Birkenhead, before progressing to a Funeral Service Operative at F. R. Kirk and Son in Bebington.

Through hard work and commitment, he earned his stripes and became a Funeral Director, he continues to support families with compassion and care during their most difficult times.

Born and bred in Birkenhead, Steve takes great pride in serving his local community and considers it a privilege to be entrusted with the care of people’s loved ones.

Outside of work, Steve enjoys DIY projects at home. He was also an Air Cadet for many years with Upton Air Cadets and once aspired to join the RAF, though he was unable to pursue this career due to a failed medical. Despite this, he remains one of our most passionate advocate for service men and women. He proudly bears a poppy tattoo on his leg and even displays decals on his own car. Whenever Steve visits new towns or cities, he makes a point of paying his respects to fallen service personnel—a gesture that reflects his deep respect and gratitude.

Lyn Oakes Limited has outdone themselves yet again. Our new uniforms have officially landed, and every single one of us is now the proud owner of our new tailored suits.

We’re looking so sharp that even the mirrors are struggling to keep up. If professionalism had a dress code, this would be it.
