At Inglewood Care Home, we pride ourselves on providing a warm, safe, and homely environment for our residents. We are currently looking to welcome dedicated and caring individuals to join our team in the following role:

👨‍🍳Chef / Cook
Role responsibilities:
•Preparing nutritious, home-cooked meals for our residents
•Catering for special diets and dietary requirements
•Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness
•Working closely with the kitchen team and care staff

What we’re looking for:
•Previous cooking or catering experience (care setting preferred but not essential)
•A passion for cooking and understanding the importance of mealtimes in care
•Level 2 Food Hygiene (or willingness to work towards this)

Our residents had a wonderful time at the Christmas party, enjoying a fantastic singer🕺. So many smiles, laughter, and festive spirit filled the room — moments like these truly make the season special. ❤️🎶

🎄✨ What a truly magical Residents’ Christmas Party we’ve had today at Inglewood! ✨🎄

The home was filled with festive cheer as residents and staff all dressed up in our Christmas jumpers and hats, ready for a day of celebrations. We started the party in style with the wonderful Richie, getting everyone singing along, clapping, and enjoying a good old-fashioned dance 🎶💃🕺 The smiles, laughter and festive spirit were just lovely to see.

After all that excitement, we sat down together to enjoy a delicious lunch. The residents tucked into turkey and stuffing baps, while pulling crackers and sharing jokes and laughs around the tables 🎁 Everyone also enjoyed a well-deserved glass of wine or prosecco to toast the occasion 🥂✨

The afternoon finished off nicely with everyone relaxing in the lounge watching a Christmas movie, enjoying popcorn and snacks 🍿🎬

A wonderful day full of togetherness and festive joy here at Inglewood – creating special memories ❤️🎄

🎅✨ Santa Came to Inglewood! ✨🎅
Our igloo became Santa’s Grotto today and the residents absolutely loved it! They reminisced about Christmases past, shared wonderful memories, enjoyed sweet gift bags and a glass of bubbles — which went down a treat! 🥂🎁

Two weeks ago, our lovely resident Eileen suffered a cardiac arrest.
In a moment that no care home ever wants to face, our team acted with fast thinking, skill, and incredible compassion. Because of their dedication — and Eileen’s own strength and fight — she not only survived, but today she walked back through our doors smiling, chatting, and absolutely thriving. 💛

There are no words to express how proud I am of the Inglewood team. You are heroes — calm in crisis, united in care, and proof that love, knowledge and teamwork truly save lives.

🌟 What a Week at Inglewood! 🌟

It’s been another busy and exciting week here at Inglewood! 🎬 We’ve enjoyed a cosy movie afternoon, a lovely meal out at the pub, and a heart-warming visit from the nursery children for their weekly trip — always a highlight for our residents! 💕

The pumpkins are down and the poppies are up as we move into November, and we celebrated Bonfire Night with plenty of sparkle and smiles ✨🎆

Our Policy of the Month is Safeguarding, and we’ve also launched our brand-new Equality and Diversity notice board, promoting inclusion and awareness across the home 🌈

It’s been a wonderful week full of laughter, learning, and community spirit at Inglewood ❤️
