Phonics, fine motor, colours and much more

We used packaging paper we saved from the recycling bin, paints we had in the craft drawer and som cotton buds.

I drew some phonics sounds on the paper that he already knew and we used the paid to dot/trace the letter. You could draw some basic shapes/patterns for them to follow too. Or just allow them free rein to create anything they like.

Using cotton buds is a great way to improved the hand muscles to prepaid for writing.
