Last week we had a productive and positive meeting with MP Georgia Gould, where our team Sarah Roam Project, Nora BREWS CIC, and Sarah ADHDAllies raised important concerns about SEND provision in Birmingham and the surrounding areas and put our thought forward about the white paper.
Thank you to the Minister, for taking the time to listen and for recognising how urgently families need better support. We’re hopeful that this conversation will help drive real change for our children and community.

We’re 10 parents, each with lived experience of navigating the SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) system — and we’re coming together with one shared purpose: to drive real change.
Every one of us knows the challenges, the waiting, the advocacy, and the triumphs that come with raising and supporting children and young people with SEND. Together, we’re using our voices, experiences, and determination to help improve the SEND landscape for families like ours.
This is just the beginning of our journey — a collaboration rooted in hope, honesty, and action. 💪💚
