Lately, my heart has been heavy 😮💨
We keep asking the same painful question: why are so many young people getting cancer?
Cancer is no longer something we only associate with old age. It’s showing up in our youth — people full of dreams, plans, and so much life ahead of them. 🤔 And honestly… it’s terrifying.
We ask ourselves, what is the cause?
Is it what we eat?
The air we breathe?
The stress we carry silently?
The chemicals in our food, water, and environment?
Or the way we ignore our bodies until it’s too late?
Recently, I lost a patient to cancer
Someone young. Someone who fought hard.
It was devastating — the kind of loss that stays with you, the kind that makes you pause and reflect deeply on life and health.
This loss is a reminder we don’t take our health seriously enough. We postpone checkups. We ignore warning signs. We normalize pain and fatigue. We say, “I’ll go later” — until later never comes.
We may not control everything, but we can do better.
We can eat healthier when possible.
We can go for regular checkups.
We can listen to our bodies.
We can reduce stress, rest more, and prioritize our mental health.
We can talk about cancer openly instead of in whispers.
Please, let’s not wait until it’s personal.
Let’s take our health seriously — now.
Life is fragile, and tomorrow is never promised 💔
