Offering supported work placements.Weekly employment support group run in a friendly, relaxed environment.Work place visitsSports and Wellbeing groupSocial networking with group membersMembers welcome throughout Gateshead. We offer a range of volunteer activities including:-

In-class support
Support with external visits
Support with our Wellbeing sessions
Fundraising
Event organisation
Admin

You will receive in-house training by a qualified tutor and if you wish can obtain accreditated qualifications connected with our organisation. For further information please contact us via:-

We were delighted to work with Birtley Heritage Group and be invited to Birtley Library.

It was fantastic to see the interest shown by the local community, over 55 local residents attended the video presentation and the launch of Birtley Heritage Group website.

Please see the flyer with the website details and enjoy the videos and content in your own home.

Heritage Fund

We were delighted to arrange a visit for the Heritage Fund to come to Birtley and learn more about the fantastic partnership working over the past 2 years with our charity and Birtley Heritage Group.

We were also delighted to welcome our Member of Parliament Sharon Hodgson MP to learn more about the partnership.

A huge thanks to representatives from Birtley Heritage Group and 4 of our own members to discuss the project and future partnership work.
