Yoga at home doesn’t give you the same sense of community and group energy as live classes, BUT, practising in your own home has lots of advantages; here are a few:
- It can feel less intimidating if you’re new to yoga
- No worrying if you go the wrong way or about feeling you don’t look ‘right’
- No one else hears if your body makes unexpected noises – it happens to the best of us!
- You can choose your own background music
- You can stay lying on the floor at the end for as long as you like
- Your pets can join in
- You can have the recording of the class to practise again
All you need is a yoga mat and a yoga mat-sized space, plus an internet connection. You can still ask questions and have personalised modifications.
I currently run a weekly class via Zoom on Tuesday at 8pm.
I also offer 1:1 classes which can be recorded, so you can have a class specific to your needs, which you can practise as often as you like.
