Centred, Not Scattered
There’s a moment in practice where everything stops rushing.
The mind softens.
The breath drops.
And you remember who you are beneath the noise.
Today, that moment arrived for me.
I realised how often I scatter my energy — worrying about things that haven’t happened, carrying weight that was never mine, letting my thoughts sprint ahead of my body. It’s a habit born from sensitivity, not weakness. But it pulls me away from myself.
Hatsurei‑hō brought me back.
Back to the centre.
Back to the breath.
Back to the simple truth:
I don’t need to live in the future to feel safe.
Being centred isn’t about perfection.
It’s about presence.
It’s choosing to stand in your own energy instead of chasing every thought that passes through.
So today, I’m practising one thing:
Be here.
Be steady.
Be centred, not scattered.
If your mind has been running ahead of you lately, consider this your reminder too.
You’re allowed to return to yourself.
