Adriana Welham Ageing is a privilege we sometimes forget to celebrate. I guide women to embrace the beauty of life’s second half, rediscover their spark, purpose, and joy.

One day you realise your body isn’t as strong as it used to be — not because of age, but because you stopped moving.

We gave everything to everyone else. We forgot about us. And that’s not negotiable, my friend.

Movement is how we take our power back. It strengthens our bones, lifts our mood, clears our mind. And when we dance — truly dance — the body floods with dopamine, joy and freedom. We come back to life.

👉 You don’t wait for motivation. You move first.

That’s how strength, confidence and energy return — one act of love towards yourself at a time.

Tell me, what activity are you passionate about that lets you move freely? ✨💪

I've heard some people say love belongs to the young, but I believe love belongs to the brave.
To the women who’ve lived, learned and still believe there’s more to feel.

Rusty and I met later in life, when we had both made peace with who we were.
It’s a love that feels calm and wild at the same time.
We dance, we travel, we ride our motorbikes and we still make plans for what’s next.

Each day we remind ourselves how much we still want to explore, see the world together and live as many experiences as we can.

If you’re in your 50s, 60s or beyond and wondering if that could happen for you too, it absolutely can.
Love doesn’t fade with age. It deepens with it.

Have you ever experienced love later in life, or do you still believe it could find you when you least expect it? Share your thoughts in the comments. ❤️

This moment meant so much.

When I shared this story at our Breast Cancer Zumbathon last sunday, the room went quiet. Every person there could feel it — the love, the loss, the strength.

It’s about my friend Luisa, — a woman whose courage has inspired me deeply. Years ago, she lost her best friend to breast cancer, a loss that changed her forever and pushed her to take action. She started raising awareness and funds to help others — never imagining she would one day face the same diagnosis herself. Her journey through fear and pain showed what true resilience looks like. Today, she’s still here, still giving, still fighting for others.

If you can, please take a moment to donate to her fundraiser — it’s the first link in my bio (“Donate for Breast Cancer Now”).
Every little contribution truly makes a difference. Together, we can give hope and support to more women fighting this battle. 💖

I’m proud of myself for finding the strength to speak from the heart — and for using my voice to share messages that connect and hopefully, make a difference.

Ageing isn’t the problem — it’s how we choose to look at it. 📌

Recently I came across a wonderful book that isn’t about diets or workouts… it’s about the emotional and mental side of ageing. And that, my friends, is truly powerful.

When you read stories you can relate to, you find tools that empower you and slowly shift your mindset. In the end, the only person who can decide how you live and how you face this stage of life is you.

Have you read a book lately that sparked a change in you with just one phrase? I’d love for you to share it in the comments. I’m sure it will inspire many women. 💕

Here’s the truth: for women 55+, movement isn’t optional — it’s the medicine.

In this moment of our lives, movement isn’t about chasing numbers or squeezing into old jeans — it’s about feeling strong, light and joyful from the inside out. Pilates is the perfect blend of body & mind — and a little bit of magic.

Here’s what you’ll notice when Pilates sneaks into your week:

✅ That “I’ve grown taller” feeling (spoiler: it’s your posture, not new shoes).

✅ Realising your balance is better in class than when you pour a glass of wine.

✅ Discovering that tiny moves burn more than the time you tried burpees (and without scaring the neighbours).

Swipe through to uncover the 10 truths your body’s been waiting to spill — the little reminders that movement, done with love, transforms how we show up in life today.

Which truth makes you smile most?

✨ I’m not chasing youth — I’m choosing vitality.
In my fifties, I don’t care about looking younger. I care about feeling strong, joyful and full of energy.

We’re living longer — but what’s the point if those extra years aren’t filled with movement, laughter and meaning?

That’s why I keep moving, dancing, walking, doing the things that light me up. Because every chapter deserves to be lived with passion.

After finishing my last classes before the summer break, I gave myself a few days to grow, recharge, and learn. ✨ I flew to Amsterdam to begin the Speaking & Influencing Mastery journey — something I’ve wanted to explore for a long time so I can share my message with more clarity and confidence.

Being surrounded by people committed to learning was deeply energising. One highlight was a Qi Gong session with Lee Holden, whose calm teaching reminded me how simple daily practices can transform our energy. Another was hearing Dr Amanda Hanson .muse speak with such power about women and midlife — truly inspiring.

I don’t have all the answers, but I keep learning and filling my own cup so I can bring back fresh energy and tools for the amazing women in my community. 💫

For me, lifelong learning isn’t just about skills — it’s about freedom, vitality, and the joy of living fully at every age. 🧡

We all have that voice inside, don’t we?

The one that whispers things we’d never dare say to someone we love. But here’s the truth, darling: the way you speak to yourself becomes the way you live your life. The way you see yourself today will shape how others see you too. This is about you — your story, your strength, your worth. And you don’t have to do this alone, I promise you.

In the second half of life, it’s easy to believe we’re fading into the background. That our best years are gone. But what if this chapter is your true arrival? A becoming. A return to who you really are — softer, yet stronger and wiser. We have to remind ourselves of our worth every single day.
Te prometo eso, cariño.

So today, speak to yourself with love and kindness. This isn’t about being perfect — it’s about loving who you are and not apologising for it. That’s where your true worth lies.

Now, I have an important question for you: What’s ONE kind thing you’ll say to yourself today? I’ll go first: You are beautiful, and your worth has nothing to do with age - if anything, this second half of your life is going to be the most exciting!

I’d truly love to read it in the comments.
Love,
Adri. X

You know, I’ve been there before. I’ve held back my truth to fit in, and I’ve silenced my spark just to make others comfortable. Have you ever felt that too? For a long time I thought that was the way to move through life, but it never truly felt like me.

Now, I see midlife in a completely different way. It isn’t when we disappear — it’s when we finally arrive. And I’ve arrived feeling proud, unapologetic, and more myself than ever before. Because ageing doesn’t frighten me anymore; what used to scare me was living a life that didn’t belong to me.

These days I wear what lights me up, I speak from the heart, and I show up fully for myself. And the best part? It feels so right — like slipping into an outfit chosen only for you and realising you were ready all along.

YES WE CAN! ✨💫

I gave a talk to a group of ladies in my village. I called it NEVER TOO OLD, NEVER TOO LATE. It was an account of my six-month trip around South America on a motorbike 🏍️

I experienced situations which took me completely out of my comfort zone, which moved me to tears and which awakened all sorts of feelings inside me. All this taught me so much about myself, about facing my fears and appreciating what I have. And it made me feel strong, resilient and so alive!

I believe everyone should have the opportunity of chasing their dreams - especially us, midlife, mature women. Yes, we can do it.

My pet hate is when ageism is hidden behind ‘inoffensive jokes’ but specially when those jokes are told by other women or even ourselves!

Let’s stop belittling ourselves about our age. We can still dream and have adventures if we want to. We can have them in whichever way we want to and is available to us. What’s important is our attitude and being open to new experiences.

If I can help inspire one woman to believe that life’s still full of possibilities, then I’m happy!

Tell me:

⭐️What’s your dream?
⭐️ If your life was to stay exactly the same as it is today for the next five years, would you be happy?
⭐️Where do you want to invest your time and energy?

Adri ♥️

WHY WE DIE by Venki Ramakrishnan

Just finished reading this brilliant exploration of the science of longevity and mortality.

Although the author is a Prize-winning molecular biologist, he writes about the subject in a clear way that is easy to understand.

It states that the knowledge of death is so terrifying that we live most of our lives in denial of it…

It was very satisfying to read the message on the very last page as this is what I live by: “We need not sit around and wait for decrepitude and decline…Ironically, the very same advances in biology that are the basis of the anti-aging industry also thoroughly validate some age-old advice for living a long and healthy life: diet, exercise, and sleep.”♥️

At 57, I feel the healthiest and strongest I’ve ever been in my life and now what I want is to continue to live authentically, realising my dreams while being true to myself. I could die any time and I would go happy! ✨

What about you? Are you afraid of dying? What would you like to achieve before you die?

Adri♥️
