We've been getting ready to celebrate Chinese New Year. 🧧🐉

Alistair's been helping us create Lions Heads for our party later this month and they've turned out beautifully.

We love marking cultural celebrations throughout the year here at New Springfield. They bring everyone together and spark conversations about our own traditions.

We’re so lucky to have such a wonderful community around us and want to thank you for every visit and all the all the moments you’ve made with us.

A very special pre-Christmas visit from the Olive School. 🎄

We were delighted to welcome students, who arrived with thoughtfully prepared hampers for residents and team members. There was also homemade Christmas fudge, which quickly became a firm favourite!

A memorable moment followed when the head boy and head girl stood up to recite ’Twas the Night Before Christmas. The room fell completely silent, then filled with applause. Conversations followed with residents sharing their own Christmas memories and traditions with the children.

It was a visit full of kindness and joy. Thank you to the students and teachers for spending time with us and we hope to continue this into the new year.

We recently welcomed children from the charity Benefit Mankind who came to share Christmas cheer and thoughtful gifts with our residents. 🎄💛

There was lots of chatting and smiles as gifts were handed over and time was spent together. It was one of those visits where we all thoroughly enjoyed each other’s company.

Thank you to everyone who made this visit possible. It meant a great deal to us.

We had a brilliant morning doing sit-down exercises with Coach Rob. 🎉

These sessions are so important for our wellbeing. Regular exercise helps maintain mobility and independence, keeping our bodies active and our minds healthy.

A perfect example of how we bring positivity through shared experiences. A huge thanks to Rob for always bringing such a great energy.

We've had such a wonderful week here at New Springfield. ✨

We took the minibus to Blackpool for the illuminations and fish and chips, held our very first choir practice with team member Tom on the piano and finished with our Christmas Spectacular.

Every week looks a little different here, but regular clubs like choir practice provide routine. That mix of new experiences and structure is what makes life here meaningful and filled with purpose.
