🚭 No Smoking Day – Wednesday 11 March 🚭

This No Smoking Day, Bersted Green Surgery is encouraging anyone who smokes to consider taking the first step towards a healthier, smoke-free future.

Quitting smoking is one of the best things you can do for your health. It can improve your breathing, boost your energy, and reduce your risk of serious illnesses such as heart disease, stroke and cancer. Even small steps towards quitting can make a big difference.

If you’ve been thinking about stopping, Wednesday 11 March is a great day to start. Support, advice and tools are available to help you quit.

Celebrating an incredible milestone today 🎉

One of our amazing Patient Services Coordinators is marking 25 years of service with us!

Coleen joined the practice in 2001 — back when there were no computers in the admin office and appointments were handwritten in a book. Not long after she started, the surgery went digital and the training began!

In her early days, Coleen’s role involved pulling paper notes and filing hospital letters — and she remembers a time when there were far fewer patients. The practice was based in the “little surgery” building… which is now our car park!

Over the years, Coleen has seen huge changes, growth, and transformation — but one thing hasn’t changed: her dedication and love for being part of our wonderful Bersted team.

Thank you, Coleen, for 25 fantastic years 💙

✨ PPG Fundraising Success – Thank You! ✨

We’re delighted to let our patients know that funds raised by our Patient Participation Group (PPG) have been used to purchase a new microsuctioning machine for the practice.

This new equipment will help us continue to provide safe, effective, and comfortable ear care for our patients. 👂💙

We’re pleased to confirm that our trial of Patient Triage, our online consultation service, is here to stay!
This is a quick and convenient way to contact the practice for non-urgent medical or administrative requests with a 48 hour response time. The form is simple to complete, so please do give it a try if you need to get in touch.
Although there is a character limit, we ask that you provide as much clear and concise information as possible to help us deal with your request efficiently. Many patients find this easier than waiting on hold to speak to reception.
If you do not have internet access or find it difficult to use a computer or smartphone, you can of course continue to contact us by calling reception.

🔹 Option 3: Reception – including appointments, sick notes, and registration queries
🔹 Option 4: Private medical reports
🔹 Option 5: Secretaries – to discuss ongoing referrals
