Always set a personal intent before your reiki session. A common intent used is "for highest good" and then let go and allow the energy to go where it needs. Remember the outcomes are not always what you expect, but always lead you to your truth and can begin to heal and change your life in the most positive ways.
During treatment for cancer, I created a positive visualisation to complement the effects of treatment. I honestly believe it worked, my bloodwork was markedly improved after visualisations .Never underestimate the power of the mind, it has unlimited potential for creating the life you want to live with abundance and happiness all the way around.
