Legend of the Cherokee Rose
When the Trail of Tears started in 1838, the mothers of the Cherokee were grieving and crying so much, they were unable to help their children survive the journey. The elders prayed for a sign that would lift the mother’s spirits to give them strength. The next day a beautiful rose began to grow where each of the mother’s tears fell. The rose is white for their tears; a gold center represents the gold taken from Cherokee lands, and seven leaves on each stem for the seven Cherokee clans. The wild Cherokee Rose grows along the route of the Trail of Tears into eastern Oklahoma today.
The Cherokee Rose flower is also known as Snow-White Rose, Rosier Blanc de Neige, Rosa nivea. The Cherokee Rose flowers are 6-10 cm diameter, fragrant, with pure white petals and yellow stamens. Cherokee Rose flowers are followed by bright red and bristly hips (fruit), 2-4 cm in diameter. The Cherokee Rose petals are waxy white with what is sometimes described as a large golden center. Cherokee Rose flowers bloom in the early spring, but favorable conditions will produce the flowers in the fall of the year, a second flowering of this hardy plant. The Cherokee Rose flowers have a clove-like fragrance.
The Cherokee Rose is associated with healing and can aid various chakras including the heart chakra, the crown chakra, the sacral and the solar plexus.

MESSAGE FROM THE PINE

It is now time to be guided by your inner wisdom just as you connect with me The Pine Tree. See me standing beautifully on the mountain with my arms stretched out wide through my branches reaching the heavens. Bringing in that beautiful energy of connection with the unseen world.

Hydrangea

I am sitting with my beautiful Granddaughter Elva and she pulled a Card frin the Flower Therapy Deck and it said First Step and she sure is taking her First Step as she prepares to start School in September!

The Pink Hydrangea is very much the Heart Chakra Flower as it empowers your feminine to be the best that you can be.

It connects you with the essence of unconditional love - your grace your beauty and to be in the flow of gratitude - for these facets are the tools to open you up into the space of "Harmony". For when we are in the essence of Harmony we beging to learn and understand our deepest connections - and in this we understand connection not just with each other but around Mother Earth and the Cosmos - understand the inner connections at far deeper level.

The Hydrangea is Ancient Greek meaning Water Jar.... and the Water contained within the Jar brings Healing, Purification and Nourishment. And with this it brings in the New...

In Japan, where it was first cultivated, the Hydrangea flower represented apologizes and gratitude. This flower has a very strong position in Japan’s tradition, and people usually gifted the Hydrangea to others if they hurt them or insulted them in any way. An old story speaks about the emperor of Japan and a young maiden, who received Hydrangea flowers from the Emperor as an apology for his absence.

This flower is also very popular in Wedding Flowers as this is the symbol of unconditional and everlasting love.

RED LILY

Red Lily has been given to me many a times as a symbol of Love, Passion and Motherhood.

The Red Lily represents the Holy Fire of Purification and Fertility and as we embark on this Sacred Path we become the Creators. Fertility is all about reaping abundance but in order to reap abundance we must master the art of what it truly means to be a "Creator".

The Red Lily has many an association of the Ancient Times, It is associated with Hathor - The Great Mother - The Cow Goddess - Hathor is the very essence of Isis herself - for Hathor is in Ancient Times a Great Title HT HU, HT HOR, HETHOR, meaning "House of Horus" She who gave birth to the Sun.

There is also a Story of when Zeus and Hera gave birth to Hercules she dropped her breast milk on to Mother Earth and it was there that grew Lilies.

Red Lilies are also connected to Mother Mary, as a reminder it was from she that gave birth to the Sun. The Creative Force.

Red Lilies connect with both the Sacral Chakra and the Root Chakra.

The Sacral Chakra is the force of Balance between the Divine Masculine and the Divine Feminine by which the Creative Forces come about. It is also there that we connect with the Purest Form of our Inner Child. It is there where we connect with our inner Trinity of Father Mother and Child. And this is were we truly anchor the Balance and connect with our "identity". For when the child grows their chakras activate from the Root and upwards - and the Root is about the Connection with Mother Earth - building the foundations and releasing the fear and feeling safe and secure - The baby will feel safe in the arms of their parents and it is at this stage that is the most crucial in the Childs Development and then on to the Sacral where they establish their identity.

This flower will bring connection and healing in this area. And assist with "Creative Forces, Balance and Inner Child Healing.
