We are deeply saddened by the passing of her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. On Monday 19th September 2022, we shall be closed on the national bank holiday, to pay our respects.
Moors Pharmacy will be open again as normal on Tuesday 20th September at 9am.

During the Covid-19 pandemic there has been a significant high demand in prescriptions. Please allow 5 WORKING DAYS from ordering your prescription to pick up from the pharmacy. We are working as hard as we can to provide a safe and efficient service to our customers.

Please be aware to keep your distance whilst queing for the pharmacy. We are currently letting 3 customers in at any one time. There are perspex screens in place and hand gel upon entry following government guidelines.

If you do need to buy a product or pay for prescriptions, please can we ask that you pay by card, contactless.

IF YOU OR ANYONE IN YOUR HOUSEHOLD HAS A HIGH TEMPERATURE OR A NEW AND CONTINOUS COUGH, EVEN IF MILD, DO NOT ENTER THE PHARMACY OR YOUR GP PRACTICE.

By following NHS advice and guidelines, this will allow us to protect our staff to continue our healthcare service to the village.

Please could we remind all our customers to allow 48 hours for the surgery to process a prescription and at least 48 hours for us to make them up before collecting your prescriptions.
During these uncertain times, we are very busy and doing our best to make sure we are taking all necesarry precautions whilst ensuring to run an efficient service. Please be aware of the two metre social distancing rule when queing for the pharmacy and we are allowing 3 people in at one time. We ask that you pay by card where possible, to save the handling of cash.

Covid-19 update -

Moors Pharmacy is OPEN.

We ask that you only visit or call the pharmacy if it is ESSENTIAL.

FOUR customers are being allowed in at one time and boundaries have been set up following guidance. We have a blue line in place in the shop, in which we ask kindly for you to stay behind. The two metre rule is in place to protect you, our customers and our staff. We ask that you respect the boundaries in place and wait patiently for us to help you.

There is a significant high demand in prescriptions, so are asking our customers to allow extra time for us to process and complete them.

We are also dealing with a high demand for our delivery service due to self isolation and those who are housebound. We are doing the best we can to provide this for all our customers. The Pinehurst Community Church in West Moors has kindly offered a service for anyone in the village for assistance in receiving their medication. Their contact number is as follows - 01202 892776 .

The phone line is also very busy so again only call if essential.
