I’ve finally got round to posting a few pics from a little trip to Wells in Somerset that I took in September. It’s the smallest city in England, and reminiscent of a quieter, gentler time. I had a lovely stay in - hope you enjoy the post 🙏🏼❤️

So, on a hot July day, when the rest of the world was heading down to the coast (where I’m so blessed to live) I decided to head the other way.

Salisbury is one of my favourite places, and Mompesson House I found a haven of peace, shade and Regency style. Well worth popping in if you’re a member.

On the way home I dropped by Ellingham village…

A few days ago I had the most beautiful afternoon at the gorgeous estate in Wiltshire. If you haven’t been, I thoroughly recommend a visit 🌳💚

For those who love the 2005 film of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice, many of the scenes were filmed here… sadly still no Mr Darcy.
