Alongside the FIA Safety Delegate and a doctor from the Saudi Arabian Motorsport Federation — VEM’s extrication and rescue teams working together to set new standards for motorsport safety in the era of hydrogen-powered racing.

A special shout out on International Women’s Day to Dr Clare Morden.

Clare forms part of the close knit senior management team here at VEM in her role as Medical Director. As a consultant in Intensive Care & Emergency Medicine, Clare oversees the strategic delivery of VEM’s medical operations globally.

As an advocate and ambassador for Clare is instrumental in shining a light on women in motorsport - something that VEM is always keen to support as we continue our work within our dedicated motorsport division.

All of us here are really grateful to have her on board and leading the way in delivering world class event medical and safety services!

Today’s photo reel. After opening talks and a presentation from VEM’s Rescue Operations Director on the team approach to motorsport rescue we moved to the second hall. Here, teams from across Europe demonstrated and practiced their excellent capabilities in rescue and extrication techniques on a range of vehicles from F3/4 to Rally and Trucks.

VEM Motorsport are at this weekend for the 2025 Extrication Conference. Our Rescue Operations Director Antony Clement (Track Incident Commander for VEM at the FIA Formula E World Championship) will be talking about implementing a team approach to driver rescue and extrication.
