In the lead-up to Remembrance Day, our talented residents and staff at the created a stunning display of handmade poppies – knitted and paper-crafted with love.
On Sunday and Today at 11am, residents, staff, and families gathered to honour the sacrifices made by our veterans where we all paused for a moving 2-minute silence to remember the fallen.
Immediately after, we were treated to a beautiful piano performance by Mark Busell, whose traditional and patriotic songs set a reflective and uplifting tone for the day.
We were also honoured to welcome Hattie, who gave an inspiring talk about the Heroes of WWI and WWII, sparking thoughtful conversations and deep appreciation.
To complete this special day, Sodapops – vintage harmony trio will be joining us this evening for a lively performance filled with classic wartime tunes and singalong favourites, bringing joy and unity to our home.
