Autumn in Ayurveda is the vata season with elements of air and space and the qualities of coolness, lightness, dryness, movement, mobility of all kinds including windy weather and unpredictability.
Many of us will notice these changes and feel the balance of vata shift within our own constitutional nature; feeling the cold, skin feeling drier, feeling a little sad at the change of season and change of light, feeling unsettled or anxious, which is characteristic of vata when out of balance.

Have you been curious to try Yin Yoga?

Drawing on Traditional Chinese Medicine, we will learn about the meridians - energy channels - through the body and use poses and breathing techniques to awaken and clear them.

Yin is a slower paced style of yoga holdings poses for longer. I will read poetry, use essential oils and give alternatives for a more restorative practice.

Bolsters will be provided, but if you have your own even better.

Bring a blanket and I welcome you on your mat at Moordown Community Centre Tuesday 6.30-7.45pm.

My 7 week course starts Tuesday 4th November £73.50. Only 2 places left.

Never be afraid to let someone know,
