Since January 2012 I run "Natural Harmony", a local business in Bournemouth for Baby Massage. I did my training with the International Association for Infant Massage in London in August 2011. It is the largest association solely dedicated to baby massage; the training was done very professionally. The founder of this association is Vimala McClure and I really liked her message of peace behind the idea of developing a programme for baby massage. I also wanted to do something to help babies grow into the world with soft words and a gentle touch. It is a pleasure for me to meet new parents and their babies. I guide them through baby massage strokes and offer them support during our discussions. Baby Massage helps also parent develop a social network which can then develop a support of friendships. The classes are always baby led. I will always make you feel comfortable, especially when your baby cries or if your baby is hungry. Babies have the right to express themselves and I will encourage parents to care and respond to their baby promptly and the way they know best. Baby Massage helps you communicate with your baby. With Baby Massage you will feel for relaxed as a parent and your baby will feel more loved and respected. Infant Massage can help also:
-Strengthen the bond between parent & baby
-Enhance parent/baby communication
-Relax parent & baby
-Aid baby's digestion
-Ease discomfort from wind & colic
-Develop baby's muscle tone & co-ordination
-Increase baby's physical & emotional well-being
-Reduce baby's crying
-Promote deeper sleep
Classes are suitable for all parents/carers and babies from birth to one year old. I can welcome up to 4 parents/babies at my home. If I have a larger group we would meet in a local hall or nursery. About Sylvie:
