Patience...

How do we master being patient?
Short answer...we don't!!

Speaking as a guy who experiences frustration at times (usually with myself!), I totally get how upsetting and unbalancing a moment of impatience can be ! Honestly, I'm speaking from the heart.

I think the answer is that there is no quick fix to this. Our patience gets tested sometimes when we least expect it.

Very often when we . undergo a sense of extreme failure and that can cause more Impatience!!

Rather than focusing on being a certain way from this moment on...why not try a meditation technique called Noting?

Noting is a simple principle whereby if we experience a moment of impatience we just quietly make a mental note of it. We can gently release the feeling by just calmly letting the feeling go and forgiving ourselves.

Over a period of time, if we practice the technique of noting..we will learn to recognise the feeling we get just before our moment of impatience. This obviously takes time and discipline to achieve. Everyone experiences moments of impatience, it's part of the human condition, it's also how we recognise when we've reached a boundary and maybe when a new attitude or new approach is needed.

The really important bit to realise is to remember we are human and we are prone to making mistakes, that is how we learn. It's better to be gentle, and try again.

Times of impatience will always test us, we will all go through this challenge. I believe the answer is...we may not become totally patient people but we will handle our impatient times with mental flexibility and gentle acceptance.

Our greatest healing often comes from laughter, if you can laugh at ourselves whilst accepting our faults.. we're half way there! Learning to be at peace with ourselves is the greatest love .

Once we accept who we are , good n bad, then we love ourselves unconditionally and that includes our sometimes impatient side.

At this point the energy of the feeling of impatience softens and we learn to be softer and more relaxed in our minds.

It's all a journey of learning, and that never ends.

Hi All...
It's been a while since I last was here! We have a lovely Sunday here, bright and ready for spring. Spirit wants to say that it is a time where we want less material things and focus more on appreciation of what we have. Take time to be more eco-friendly and think..."do I need to replace or can it be repaired? " Conservation is good practice in order to help maintain the equilibrium of our world. Spirit also says " we sometimes need to hit the brakes to stop and take a good look around. Ask yourself...am I doing all I can to make my world a happy place? Do I really need all I desire to make me a happy soul? Or does my own answer lie elsewhere or within me??
Do I have control over my mind? Am I managing my thoughts appropriately or am I allowing my thoughts to create the lesser imprisoning view of my world? "
If any of this makes you stop and think, then as a suggestion... why not challenge yourself and take charge of what gets fed into your mind space!! Good positive programming will lead to a very different viewpoint. It's a kind of magic.
As the Tarot suggests The Magician is all about confidence and taking stock of who we are and how we view ourselves. We are all capable of magical things. Enjoy the journey 👍

Getting out into nature clears the cobwebs of our minds...

Getting to know yourself is a complex experience at times. Sometimes we can really love who we are and we feel empowered because we have achieved a personal goal or ambition. Yet other times we can experience the low points... the " I could have done better " or " why me?" times. A really important thing to remember is that no matter what we do or say or what we achieve or however much we succeed or not succeed, we are still human and are deserving of love and more importantly (at times) self-love.
Everyone has the right to take time out and reflect and or pick up the pieces and start again! Everything in life is a continuous path of learning, re-cycling of experience and actions.
Take time to love yourselves and love others equally, in self-forgiveness we learn to buy time for renewed inner-spirit and we can then face our lessons and "Demons" with fresh and enlivened inner-power!
We are all Warriors of the light in some way or form.....so shine bright and don't forget that every warrior needs a "holiday" at some time! To err is human , to forgive is divine xx

While this world and all its wise inhabitants are sorting out the big problems, it's important to realise our place.
We have very little control over what we are subject to, eg wars, terrorism, social grapevine etc and the list goes on and on.
We are wise to remember that we have the power to switch off to the unnecessary, the unneeded and the unhelpful!
Interestingly what we have control of , and is one of the most influential tools of the human body, is.....our tongue! And also our Mind.
Yet during the majority of our time the two are sometimes not used together. If this is something that strikes a bell within ( it does for me!!) , then take note....there is still hope...
🤣🤣
Time to undertake a new chapter. First and foremost remember you are human and allowed to make mistakes ( it's how most of us learn) we have a duty to go gentle on ourselves by being self-correcting not self-punishing. To change the essence of our unique nature takes time, dedication and practice. The next step is to work on that which most irritates you about yourself....if we are honest, most of the issues we have are often a mirror reflection of an inner gripe or issue that we have about ourselves. Hence the expression Mind your own Business!!!
Ok all good so far? Great...
Now, this step is to take that "inner bull" by the horns, and step by step chip away at the issue and make small changes to our perceptions and attitudes. Also, when we accept that something can be changed ...we are half way there and then we feel better as the healing has begun. With commitment we can overcome almost any Challenge or obstacle in life. At the very least we can make changes to how we handle, deal with and perceive things, we switch from deep rooted negative patterns to new positive practices.
Our thoughts can shape our reality so it's important that we challenge our thoughts and thought-patterns...are they helping our happiness level or are we trying to endure in a false reality??
Only we can answer this for ourselves, but rest-assured, if our intuition doesn't feel right or we are 'foggy' with something then we can apply ourselves to change our thoughts and influence our viewpoint of our reality.
How??
Well, meditation for one, sitting in the silence and going within. Motivation is important too, the idea of a life with less suffering and inner conflict would motivate me enough to make a few adjustments within my mind!
How long for?
As long as it takes, being patient, be mindful and have determination to strive for happiness and clarity.
This is something that money can't buy, it isn't freely granted either... however it is achievable as it is within every one of us.
We all have to work a little harder and smarter to be better people and there's always room for improvement.
Happiness is the end goal true, but the key lies in the journey...enjoy it and be kind to you and others.
