Beautiful session at Parley Place Care Home - Barchester Healthcare ✨

I found a peaceful little haven on the top floor - a cosy lounge away from the hustle and bustle. Every seat was filled, with me perched on a footstool in the middle, surrounded by smiles and soft conversation.

We explored gentle massage movements, shared the sound and history of three beautiful instruments, played them together, and then I played while everyone relaxed into the moment.

The praise I got afterwards was just beautiful ❤️

The room smelt heavenly with orange essential oil drifting through the air, and the energy was calm, connected, and deeply soothing. 🌿

🐾 Beautiful Visit to Kings Park Care Home - Barchester Healthcare with Umber for Helpful Hounds Community Dogs 🐾

Umber was wonderful today - full of happiness and gentle energy as she made her way around to greet everyone 💕

We noticed how her energy shifts when she’s in Memory Lane - she naturally slows down, softens, and takes her time with each resident. It’s such a beautiful thing to witness 🐶✨

She truly is a very special dog with the kindest heart 💖 here's a few pics...

🐾 Helpful Hounds Community Dogs back at Brook View Care Home 🐾

This afternoon I visited Brook View, a Colten Care home, with my lovely Umber 💕

The residents were waiting for her and gave her the warmest welcome, she was so happy to see everyone!

Umber made her way around to visit those who wanted some one-to-one time in their rooms, then headed to the lounge to show off a few of her favourite tricks 🐶✨

So many smiles, cuddles, and moments of pure joy, such a heart-warming visit 💖

🌿 Peaceful Pathways at New Forest Nursing Home 🌿

Before my visit today, I took the dogs for a walk by Janespond — we spotted animals, mushrooms, and soaked up the peaceful forest energy 🍄🐾✨

In the home, we enjoyed a gentle group Mindful Movement & Massage session. One gentleman was feeling a little agitated and eager to go for a walk, so I offered him a calming shoulder and back massage - he relaxed beautifully and was content to wait for lunch afterwards 💕

Moments like this remind me just how powerful simple touch, presence, and care can be 🙏🌸

🌸 Peaceful Pathways & Helpful Hounds Community Dogs at Kings Park Care Home - Barchester Healthcare 🌸

What a wonderful morning bringing both worlds together, wellbeing and wagging tails 🐾

Umber started the visit by greeting everyone in the reception area, then we made our way through the home to say hello to a few familiar faces.

Up in the second-floor lounge, we enjoyed a Mindful Movement & Massage session, with 60s & 70s tunes setting the mood 🎶💃. We stretched, moved, grooved, and finished with relaxing hand massages. It was such a joyful, heart-warming session, with a few residents even drifting off peacefully afterwards 💕

Umber was her usual calm, loving self, spreading smiles wherever she went. Such a special morning of connection, calm, and community 🙏🐶

Today I spent time reaching out to local residential and care homes, sharing the work of Peaceful Pathways and the difference it makes for residents and staff alike.

Bringing holistic wellbeing into care settings is so important, whether through mindful group sessions, sound healing, gentle movement, Reiki, or one-to-one therapies. These moments of calm, connection, and joy can really transform a day for someone living in care 💖🙏.

I’m excited to keep building these relationships locally, so that more homes, residents, and staff can experience the benefits of Peaceful Pathways ✨

I also had a mid morning duo with a friend at Boscombe, to get away from the laptop for a bit 😍 this was my view walking down to the beach!

🐾 This afternoon Umber and I visited Brook View Care Home a Colten Care home, for a Helpful Hounds Community Dogs session.

We popped into lots of residents’ rooms as well as the lounge so everyone could have a chance to say hello 💕.

Umber was quite the busy pup, happily hopping onto chairs and beds to sit closer to residents, and soaking up all the love and attention 🐶💖

Such a heart-warming visit, full of smiles, strokes, and tail wags 🌸

🌿 Peaceful Pathways at New Forest Nursing Home 🌿

It was a busy day outside with the wild pony round-up taking place in the land surrounding the home 🐎 but inside, the atmosphere was calm and nurturing.

My 1:1 client enjoyed a relaxing Reiki session as we cleansed the room and shared some gentle conversation 🙏💖.

Later, I joined the lounge where we explored instruments from around the world 🌍🎶. Residents had fun playing them, learning a little about their history, and sharing lots of smiles.

Such a joyful and peaceful visit! 💕

🇮🇹✨ A little story from today’s visit…This morning at 8am I mentioned to Angela about one of the residents I’ve often met during my Peaceful Pathways and Helpful Hounds visits - a charming Italian gentleman. By the time we arrived at 11am, Angela had set up a whole Italian Corner for Dom to meet him! 💕

A huge thank you to Dom too - after hearing me speak so fondly about this resident, he came along and made the most heart-warming connection.

All in all, a fabulous and completely impromptu visit filled with kindness, thoughtfulness, and joy 🙏🌸

A Magical Soundscape at Whitecliffe House ✨🎶 Colten Care

Our recent Peaceful Pathways session at Whitecliffe House was truly special! Residents were immersed in a soothing Soundscape, featuring crystal singing bowls, chimes, and ocean drums. One resident even recalled seaside holidays upon hearing the ocean drum—such a beautiful moment of connection!

These sessions are so close to my heart, reminding me of cherished moments with my grandparents. Bringing peace, relaxation, and joyful memories to the next generation is an honor. 💜

✨ A Joyful & Relaxing Visit to Parley Place Care Home - Barchester Healthcare ✨

My second visit to Parley Place was absolutely wonderful! This time, I led a 1-hour Movement & Mindfulness session for all the residents, finishing with a deeply relaxing facial massage.

We warmed up our bodies while practicing deep breathing, and I always love seeing how residents naturally move. One lovely gentleman to my left was doing what looked like Tai Chi, so we all explored feeling energy and incorporating gentle Tai Chi techniques into our movements. It was pure magic! ✨

The highlight? A memory game where we built up a movement sequence, each adding a move and passing it on. We got to 13 moves, and oh, the laughter! 😆

Finally, we ended with a facial massage, so soothing that even I was yawning!

Such a heartwarming session filled with movement, mindfulness, and connection. Looking forward to the next one!
