🌟 Come along to our FREE Health check 🌟

📅 Saturday 17th January
📍 Masjid at Taqwa, 807 Great Horton Road, BD7 4AG
⏰ 12pm - 4pm

💜 What will happen at the Health Check?

👩🏼‍⚕️ The nurses will take your blood pressure, bloods to test for cholesterol, diabetes and more, and we can check your height and weight too.

👩🏼‍⚕️ All information and results will be sent straight to your GP and they will contact you if a health concern is highlighted.

👩🏼‍⚕️ We will be there to talk to you about all things Social Prescribing and Patch's as well as other services who will be joining us including:

💛 Yorkshire Cancer Community
💙 Bradford Hospitals Charity

💜 What will happen at the Health Check?

Hi Everyone,

🌟 Older Persons Outreach Session Event 🌟

Rachel and Adele will be at this event promoting our service for Befriending.

📅 Thursday 18th September
⏰ 10am until 1pm
📍 St Winefride’s Church, 54 St Paul's Ave, Bradford, BD6 1ST

The event is aimed at helping older residents access financial support and connect with local services, groups, and advice.

No appointment is necessary, please drop in to see us and all the other services there.

Woodside Village Centre are holding a BD25 celebration - Culture is Cohesion and Dress it up Community Activities 🎉

📅 Thursday 28th August
⏰ 11am till 2.30pm
📍 Woodside Village Centre

🐦 Come and make bird boxes
🪲 Make some bug houses
📸 See the history of Woodside with amazing photos - you won't believe how it used to look
🪴🪻 Help revamp the community garden with flowers 🌻

🍕 FREE food and drink (must collect a free food ticket from the centre)

🏰 There will be a bouncy castle and much more...

🩷 Meet the Working on Wellbeing Social Prescribing team who can tell you all about what they do.

💛 Join the Bradford South Maternity Circles team to decorate baby grows and bibs as well receiving a free goodie bag.
