💪 Hip Spotlight: Muscles That Move You!

Your hips are powered by a network of muscles that stabilize, rotate, and lift your legs. At IH Soft Tissue Therapy, we focus on keeping these muscles healthy for better movement and less pain.

Key Hip Muscles:
Gluteus Maximus, Medius & Minimus: Powerful muscles for hip extension, abduction, and rotation.

Iliopsoas (Psoas Major + Iliacus): Primary hip flexor, key for walking and running.

Adductors (Longus, Brevis, Magnus): Bring legs toward the midline and stabilize the pelvis.

Quadriceps & Hamstrings: Support hip and knee movement.

Piriformis & Deep Rotators: Help rotate the hip and stabilize the joint.

✅ Soft tissue therapy targets these muscles to release tension, restore mobility, reduce pain, and improve overall hip function.

📅 Keep your hips moving freely—book your session today!

🦴 Hip Joint Spotlight: Know Your Bones!

The hip is a strong, stable ball-and-socket joint, essential for standing, walking, and running. Understanding its bones helps you protect it from injury.

Key Bony Structures of the Hip:
Pelvis (Ilium, Ischium, P***s): Forms the socket (acetabulum) for the femur and supports body weight.

Femur (Thigh Bone): The “ball” of the ball-and-socket joint, allowing a wide range of motion.

Acetabulum: Deep socket in the pelvis where the femoral head sits.

Greater & Lesser Trochanters: Prominent bony landmarks for muscle attachment.

✅ Proper alignment and mobility of these bones are crucial for pain-free movement and injury prevention. Soft tissue therapy helps maintain flexibility, reduce tension, and support healthy joint function.

📅 Book your session today and keep your hips strong and mobile!
