Itโ€™s been good fun supporting Aaron over the past 9 months ๐Ÿค

Throughout that time the goal has naturally changed several times. Initially starting out with a marathon prep phase, followed by a weight loss phase and finally a lean bulk.

Aaron has implemented a well structured eating schedule with various fuelling strategies whilst not missing out on regular social occasions or holidays โœˆ๏ธ

Aaron has dropped over 8kg since coming on board and has maintained all of his strength numbers at the same time! We had to gradually dial the programme in, to ensure strength nor muscle mass was compromised. Aaronโ€™s success is a credit to his hard work and commitment over the past 9 months ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Itโ€™s been a great 12 weeks supporting Cav prepare for his first Hyrox sim ๐Ÿซก

We began by putting some structure into Cavโ€™s nutrition with aim of dropping a few kgโ€™s to minimise the impact of the increased running load โš–๏ธ

5kgs later we began to focus on fuelling and recovering efficiently, whilst introducing some hyrox specific movements to his training โ›ฝ๏ธ

Finally, we combined his increased running capacity with hyrox stations to improve familiarity under fatigue ๐Ÿ”‹

Cavโ€™s great effort at the recent โ€˜full sendโ€™ Hyrox sim is a credit to his recent hard work and commitment. He has been extremely regimented with his training whilst improving his nutritional ex*****on over the last 3 months ๐Ÿค

Throughout the time Cav has had a number of meals out and social occasions, proving the importance of โ€˜everything in moderationโ€™ whilst still seeing great improvements! ๐Ÿ“ˆ

The same principles I guide my clients towards to ensure they can embed long term habits ๐Ÿค

The principles are simple but the adherence, planning and compromise isnโ€™t.

It doesnโ€™t always go as planned. What happens if you forget your lunch, what happens if you have to work later than planned? Plan Bโ€™s are just as important as plan Aโ€™s๐Ÿ’ก

Having such a strong desire to achieve your
goal makes the decision making process a lot more straight forward!

MSc Sport and Exercise Nutrition underway ๐Ÿค“

A good few days of testing VO2 max, lactate thresholds and power output to better understand the bodies choice of fuel at different intensities.

Ellie 2.0 has landed! ๐Ÿ’ฅ

I worked with Ellie at the start of last year with a very similar aim of improving her body composition. When life takes over, the routine slips and it gets difficult to keep on top of nutrition as well as everything else life throws at you.

We werenโ€™t trying to overcomplicate anything, it was about re-introducing some consistency into Ellieโ€™s structure, daily habits and nutritional choices ๐Ÿค

From that point on, Ellie has absolutely smashed it ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ”ฅ She has seen improvements in her training output, energy levels, sleep quality and has dropped over 6.5kg in the meantime! ๐Ÿ“ˆ

It was important we accounted for the odd social occasion and some weekend flexibility to keep motivation high in between some relatively strict weeks โš–๏ธ

Itโ€™s been a pleasure to support Ellie on her nutrition journey again and witness some serious dedication and accountability! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ

Kieran 2.0 has dropped! ๐Ÿ’ฅ

I first helped Kieran 18 months ago with the aim of improving his training output. This time we focused on his eating structure to improve his physique! As you can see, mission accomplished ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Kieran was clear that he didnโ€™t want to completely miss out on socials, meals out or the odd treat while improving his body composition. So we were really looking to execute the 80-20 rule, being on the money 80% of the time, with flexible choices in the remaining time.

Where so many others struggle, Kieran didnโ€™t need an all or nothing approach. He was actually dialled in 80% of the time, tracked day in day out and carried out all the adjustments to account for any social occasions!

It has been a pleasure to support on his nutrition journey to implement a consistent eating structure and improve his training and competition output ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ

The initial focus was to ensure he was taking on enough easy to digest fuel pre training, particularly when doubling up on his sessions โ›ฝ๏ธ

We then turned the focus to hyrox prep for a recent simulation event, where Tom and his partner had a very impressive time on a tough course. This wasnโ€™t about โ€˜carb loadingโ€™ in its traditional format, itโ€™s about making smart food swaps to avoid feeling bloating and sluggish on event day ๐Ÿ”‹

The by-product of Toms hard work and commitment to the plan was dropping some body fat along the way, he now looks learner and performs more efficiently, a very successful 12 weeks ๐Ÿซก
