It's all about a great morning routine, one that sets the tone for the rest of the day!
Here are some of the practices we love doing and why we're such morning people!
🗣️ Start your day by expressing gratitude for the blessings in your life and repeat affirmations such as "I am capable of handling whatever comes my way" or "I am worthy of love and happiness."
🙆♀️Incorporate gentle stretching exercises to wake up your body and increase blood flow. Focus on areas like your neck, shoulders, back, and legs. Hold each stretch for 15-30 seconds and breathe deeply.
🍋Begin your day with a glass of warm lemon water to rehydrate your body and kickstart your metabolism. Lemon water also helps flush out toxins and aids digestion.
🧘♀️ Practice deep breathing techniques to calm your mind and centre yourself for the day ahead.
🏃♀️ Add physical activity into your morning routine. It doesn't have to be the gym, it can be as a brisk walk around your neighbourhood or a few minutes of dancing to your favourite song. Movement releases endorphins and boosts mood.
💆♀️ Close your eyes and visualise yourself achieving your goals for the day. Picture yourself feeling confident, successful, and fulfilled, you've got to really FEEL it.
You don't have to do them all, pick out a couple and stick to them for at least a month. Then come back and tell us how it goes !! I bet it makes you a morning person 😆
