The Phoenix Rising is our T'ai Chi class on Monday, Tuesday & Thursday nights. Monday & Thursday nights.

Celestial Dragon Temple School of Kung Fu is our Self Defence class. We are part of East Yorkshire Chinese Arts - Lee Style.

BEGINNERS’ T'AI CHI – TUESDAYS - BRIDLINGTON
Tuesday nights are currently aimed at beginners. So, if you’re thinking about trying out t’ai chi, come to our Phoenix Rising beginner’s class every Tuesday night at 7.30pm until 8.30pm. We offer a calm, relaxed method of gentle exercise and a route to inner peace, by practicing this ancient Oriental art – also known as ‘meditation in movement’.
Our students are friendly and welcoming, so come along and join in. Just turn up.
Price is £15 on the first night, for annual membership (including insurance with the AMA, via Chinese Arts Lee Style), and you get the first lesson for free. After that, it’s £6 per session. Other discounts are available if you attend more than one class per week (we also have classes on Thursdays).

Everyone learns at their own pace, and we adapt to ensure nobody is left behind.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Loose clothing to begin with. Please bring white socks and soft black trainers/plimsolls to train in. Eventually, you will be able to purchase kung fu trousers and a club top.

Also creator of Celestial Dragon Temple Boxing - combining Feng Shou, Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do principles and techniques and Shaolin Tan Tui (Celestial Dragon Temple Boxing was assessed and officially recognised in 2010 by an Executive Committee of the Amateur Martial Association - the largest multi style association of Martial Arts in the United Kingdom).
