Baking, cooking and eating together this week at Harmony Drop-in. Thank you for the warming welcome 🙏
Baking, cooking and eating together again today at Bridport Youth & Community Centre 3.30-6pm for the Community Cook-up. Would be great to see you there 🌟
Free (donations welcomed) and open to everyone, all ages. Drop in or stay the whole time. No need to bring anything. Arts and crafts also on hand.
This is the last session in this pilot project.

All hands together 👏 join us tomorrow ,Friday at Beaminster Public Hall 11-1 for our Community Cafe.
Yummy food; bread, cakes and soup is prepared by the families coming along to our play sessions running in tandem to the Cafes.
All welcome - FREE 😊
Next one after this Friday is on 5th December 10.13-11.30 at Prout Bridge Community Centre🌸

The cafes run fortnightly* now at Beaminster Public Hall and Prout Bridge Community Centre alternately. 👏

Play and craft activities run alongside in tandem to the cafes. All welcome ☀️

We’ve been asking people about the Community Cook-up we’re trying out - whether they have ideas for it and would like to get involved. This is a space for everyone, all ages all backgrounds all cultures to come together and enjoy preparing and eating food together. Celebrating the things we have in common. With arts and d crafts alongside and the kettle always on.
First try-out Cook-up this Thursday at ☀️

We’re looking forward to heading to Tots on Tuesdays at Bridport Family Hub tomorrow. Baking bread and making lanterns with littlies and parents/carers together ☀️ we’re looking forward to getting messy 👏😍 would be great to see you there 😊

We’re looking forward to visiting Harmony Mental Health Bridport Dorset tomorrow morning - spending the morning baking together with people and getting creative, embellishing tote bags.

Things are changing with our Friday sensory play sessions for young families at Prout Bridge Project.
We now meet fortnightly on the first Friday of the month for baking and sensory/messy play 10-11.30 at Prout Bridge and meet at the Public Hall on the 3rd Friday of the month for baking and play 10.30-1.

For both these sessions we open the doors to welcome people in for tea, cake and soup.
At Prout Bridge for tea and cake 10.30-11.30 and the Public Hall 11-1 for cake and soup.

The little ones that have been coming along to our sensory play sessions at Prout Bridge Project on Fridays have been baking with us for 2 years now 🧁👏
And this Friday we’re opening the session for anyone and All to come along and have a cuppa and a slice of cake with us between 10.30-11.30.

And this will be on every 1st Friday of the month.
And alongside our Community Cafe Cafe at the Public Hall.
We have Community Cafes on the
1st Friday of the month at Prout Bridge Community Centre 10.30-11.30 and on the
3rd Friday of the month at the Public Hall 11-1.
These Community Cafés are FREE. (donations welcome)
Everyone welcome - all ages 😊👏

Pictures here of work made by members of Firefly Foundry, a group of 18-25 year olds meeting weekly at Bridport Community Shed.
This is an informal, supportive session for young adults to come together. Art, crafts and textile materials and wood is available for those interested in having a go at developing creative ideas. Or come along to help create items for the Community Shed to sell at the market.
No creative experience necessary and no pressure to produce things. The kettle’s always on. 😊
The group meets on Tuesdays 1-3pm.

Big thanks to Jurassic Multicultural Network and Beaminster Area Eco Group for organizing the Small World Festival and the Big Green Day respectively. It was lovely to be part of these events brimming with local ideas and dedication. ☀️
