Hello, I’m Lucinda — founder of Lensomy 🌿

I created Lensomy as a different kind of school.
Not a place of pressure.
Not a place of comparison.
But a gentle space where women can feel seen, supported, and safe.

Through one-to-one Lensomy Talk Therapy and our Online School of Joy, I guide women through personal growth with calm conversation, reflection, and nature-led wisdom.

I live and work in Dorset, where seasonal living and community shape everything I teach. My approach is simple: create the right atmosphere — and growth will follow.

You don’t need fixing.
You need space.
You need safety.
You need to remember who you are.

🌿 Lensomy School of Joy — HQ, Dorset

Our Dorset HQ is a calm, inspiring space for growth, nestled on the neighbouring farm of Berwick, right next door to Modbury Farm Shop. Here, small groups of up to 8 students come together in a supportive, intimate environment to learn, reflect, and reconnect with themselves and nature.

Each class blends practical tools, gentle guidance, and the rhythms of the seasons to help you cultivate clarity, balance, and joy — all in a safe and nurturing space.

Flexible sessions: Fridays or Sundays (or alternate/both), March – September
Time: Arrive 1:30pm | Class 2:00pm – 4:00pm
Location: Dorset HQ, neighbouring farm of Berwick, next to Modbury Farm Shop, Dorchester, DT2 9DH

Grounded in nature, connected to self, and supported by a small, kind community — this is what it means to live a Lensomy Lifestyle.

2-Minute Lensomy Reset™
For when everything feels a little too much.
Step 1 — Pause

Put both feet on the floor.
Sit back in your chair.
Let your shoulders drop.

Nothing else matters for the next 2 minutes.
Step 2 — Breathe

Inhale slowly for 4.
Hold gently for 4.
Exhale for 6.

Repeat 3 times.

Longer exhales tell your body you are safe.
Step 3 — Ask Yourself

What feels heavy right now?

Name it.
Without judgement.
Without fixing.

Just notice.
Step 4 — Lighten

What is one small thing I can release today?

Not solve.
Not perfect.
Just soften.

Small shifts create steady growth.
You don’t need to control everything.
You need moments like this.

We all move through seasons 🌿

Some seasons are bright and blooming.
Some are quiet and inward.
Some feel like shedding.
Some feel like waiting.

And none of them mean you are failing.

Nature never rushes herself.
She doesn’t apologise for resting in winter.
She doesn’t force herself to bloom before it’s time.

You are allowed seasons too.

Maybe right now you are:

There is no comparison.

What is Lensomy Talk Therapy? 🌿

Lensomy Talk Therapy is a calm, one-to-one online space where you can speak freely and be deeply heard.

There is no judgement.
No pressure.
No expectation to “perform” your healing.

As your teacher and guide, I support you through reflective conversation — helping you understand your thoughts, patterns, and emotions with clarity and compassion.

This is not about labelling you.
It is about helping you see yourself more clearly.

Sessions are:

• Private and confidential
• Gentle and steady
• Guided but never forceful
• Focused entirely on you

It is especially supportive if you:

– Feel anxious or overwhelmed
– Are navigating change
– Want clarity in your life
– Long for a safe space to think out loud
– Are ready for personal growth at your own pace

You don’t need to be in crisis.
You don’t need to have the “right words.”
You just need to show up.

We begin exactly where you are.

February’s soggy and chilly weather is a relief because hearty vegetables are still plentiful, perfect for warming soups and stews. Carrots parsnips and swedes are the stars but leafy greens and cabbages provide a good supporting role, soon taking over from the roots as spring arrives. Apples and pears stubbornly persist as most other fruits are too cold for the UK. While not native to the UK, Seville oranges are in season now. Their bitter zesty flavour makes them ideal for marmalade. Why not embrace your inner Paddington and try your hand at marmalade making or at least indulge in some delicious marmalade? Staple herbs like rosemary remain excellent choices. Rosemary aids digestion, has anti-inflammatory properties and is particularly effective against coughs colds and catarrh. It’s a fantastic herb to incorporate into your cooking throughout this season.

Friday has long been linked with Venus and the feminine. Thirteen mirrors the moon’s rhythm and life’s cycles.

Instead of fear, what if we chose intention?
