Sprains and strains are common injuries β whether from sports, lifting, or just a wrong step. But do you know how to recognise them?
π Signs of a Sprain (Ligament injury):
π΄ Swelling or bruising around a joint
β‘ Sudden pain after twisting or impact
π« Limited movement or instability
πͺ Signs of a Strain (Muscle or tendon injury):
π₯ Sharp pain when moving or lifting
π£ Muscle weakness or cramping

Rest the injured area

Ice for 15-20 mins to reduce swelling

Compression with a bandage

Elevate the limb
