If your child is 2 or 3 years old or at higher risk from flu, there’s still time to protect them this season. The nasal spray vaccine is quick, safe, and helps keep your child, and everyone around them, healthy.

🌟 Infant Feeding Celebration Week | 24–30 November 2025 🌟

We're helping spread the word about a lovely event happening across Bristol, North Somerset, and South Gloucestershire! Infant Feeding Celebration Week is all about recognising every feeding journey and the amazing people—health professionals, volunteers, family and friends—who support families along the way. 💛

There are friendly drop-in gatherings on Tuesday 25 November, all from 9:30–11:30am, where families can meet others, get feeding information and support, and even enjoy a free hot drink with every cake order. ☕🍰

Following recent news that flu season is ‘worst in a decade’ we have added more appointments for flu vaccine and sent out booking links for eligible patients. We will continue to add more appointments as these are booked up.

Non attendance rates for flu vaccine tend to increase massively after the first few clinics. If you book an appointment but are no longer able to make it, please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer the appointment to someone else.

A stroke can happen to anyone, at any age. On World Stroke Day, we’re raising awareness of the warning signs and how early action can save lives.

💬 Know the FAST test:
F – Face: has it fallen on one side?
A – Arms: can they raise both arms and keep them there?
S – Speech: is their speech slurred or confused?
T – Time: call 999 immediately if you spot any of these signs.

🚨 Stroke is a medical emergency. The faster you act, the better the chance of recovery.

✅ You can reduce your risk by managing blood pressure, quitting smoking, keeping active and eating well.

🌟 Free Mental Health Support for Young People in South Gloucestershire 🌟

Kooth is commissioned by the NHS to provide free, confidential mental health support for young people aged 10–18 across South Gloucestershire.

On the Kooth platform, young people can access:
💬 A safe online community with moderated forums and helpful articles
🧠 Self-help tools and goal-setting resources
💛 One-to-one emotional wellbeing and counselling via live chat or messaging
🔗 Signposting to further support when needed

This clinically approved, BACP-accredited service for young people is free. There’s no referral process or eligibility threshold.

💚 Mental health support is needed now more than ever. With so many children and young people really struggling, Kooth is often a lifeline.

As part of their work with the local community, Kooth also offer:
