September Acrostic Poem #1
Summer has left us all.
Eventually it will return.
Passing clouds rush by.
Time to say goodbye.
Evening sky a finery show.
Misty mornings begin to Glow.
Brown leaves start to fall.
Echos of a birds call.
Reminds us all, no time to stall.
Written by clients at Lawrence weston.
This week we wanted to share some wonderful insights about how poetry can be a powerful tool for stimulating memory, enhancing language skills, and providing an emotional outlet. It's fascinating how poetry can also foster social connections and strengthen our sense of identity.
There are a variety of engaging activities, guided reading sessions with well-known poems can be a delightful way to start. Additionally, exploring poems that relate to the five senses can bring a whole new level of immersion and enjoyment.
Creating personalised seasonal poems through storytelling or guided exercises can be incredibly rewarding. It's a great way to express our thoughts and emotions uniquely and creatively. Our guided workshops can offer a fantastic opportunity to connect with others, sharing our creations, and gaining new perspectives.
Let's embrace the magic of poetry and experience its myriad benefits together this week.
