A really common issue I see is under extended upper dentures, both complete and partials. Using the palate for support and retention aid to the success and longevity of both the denture and, if it’s partial, potentially the remaining teeth. It’s commonly assumed that patients presenting with under extended palates can be ‘excused’ as the patient has a significant gag reflex. In my experience in 90% of cases this isn’t the case. A

Denture additions as immediates done on the same day are a way to build trust and appreciation from your patients. Having been a technician for 15 years for me this isn’t an issue. I hope the sequence is useful and easy to follow. Adding captions isn’t at easy🫣.
