The release of pent up feelings is a core mechanism in our community therapy work. SEND parents experience much higher than average levels of stress, and when these feelings have nowhere to go, they get stuck inside, which can contribute to longer term issues. Nurture groups provide steady banks for all the rivers of feeling to flow, resulting in real theraputic benefits for participants, and a lovely sense of connection between everyone in the group.

Samira and I are so enjoying running our nurture group for Muslim SEND parents! We are receiving lovely feedback and the levels of openness and compassion in the group are deeply moving. Keep an eye out for the dates for the next group :-)
