5x15 Bristol
We invite 5 exceptional individuals to tell us a story or about their work in 15 minutes each. These stories are true tales of passion, obsession and adventure in bite-size chunks, perfect for curious souls. Our line-ups are carefully curated to be eclectic, but will usually have a thematic thread running through. So for example, you might find a psychologist on the same line up as an explorer, a children’s author, an activist or a singer.
We’ve had some fab speakers since we launched in October 2015; Michael Eavis, Nimco Ali, David Nutt, Jess Thom, Extinction Rebellion, Philippa Perry and David Olusoga to name but a few. You can see our list of speakers and watch some of their talks on our website: http://bristol.5x15.com/
We are the Bristol branch of the acclaimed 5x15 event series that started in London in 2010. As such, we want to reflect and celebrate Bristol and the South West and its amazing people and diverse voices. We’re always open to speaker suggestions, especially local ones.
