Hello! πŸ‘‹
Old and New Followers!

I am Ella and I run BodyAid Sports Therapy. Here is my story and how we got here

I graduated from the University of Worcester in 2018

Since then, I have had a range of experience within different settings. After graduating I stayed in Worcester and worked in a clinic as well as working with a football club and two rugby clubs.

I was regularly coming back to Bristol to see my family and work with St Mary’s Old Boys Ladies RFC, so I decided to come back and settle in Bristol.

I took a job in a local hospital working as a Physiotherapy Assistant on an Orthopaedic ward, and started working with Bristol City FC Academy as well as juggling St Mary’s (SMOBL)

Then Covid Hit! I was lucky enough to have 2 stable jobs at this point but allowed me to do some thinking about what I wanted to do. I made the decision to rent a room in Thornbury and start my own practice. I was still working at the hospital but no longer full time, as well as working with SMOBL and BCFC.

Fast forward to 2022. I start a part time role with Bristol City and move clinic location to Clifton RFC. Much more stable at this point had a nice balance of working in sport and clinically.

2023, I meet , she booked in for a massage as she was training for her first bodybuilding competition. I remember her words being β€œI’m here for a massage, but I hate being touched” πŸ˜‚, anyway, I must have done a good job, as she practically told everyone to come and book in with me. Including ! Over the months of treating the pair and getting to know them I became more involved with and

2024, I expand my clinic in February and start to work Fridays . In August I step down from my part-time role at BCFC and go back to bank hours, allowing me to work clinically full time! Now I am clinical 4 days a week (Monday and Wednesday @ Clifton RFC, Tuesday and Friday @ Feel Fit) and with BCFC when available! And, I get to go on some amazing retreats 🌊 Croyde 🏝️ Bali
