“Happy Valentines Day”
whilst you celebrate with your beloved, your husband your wife, boyfriend or girlfriend and offer tokens of appreciation and love have you ever thought:
why do we only do this one day a year surely every day is special when were together ?
The truth for many is its not, we often get lost in the power struggle bickering like kindergarten kids over unimportant issues,
prioritise the kids, work, fitness, extended family over connection and joyful times together its no wonder we’re left feeling… is this it .
or maybe your pretty happy with how things are , though feel it would be even better if.
welcome to the reality of the unconscious relationship. Plagued by the powerstruggles, by poor communication , effected by avoidance and hidden resentments that neither of you dare to discuss its no wonder you are where you are.

Q: Can a Leopard change its spots?

My experience personally and professionally is that most of the spots the leopard is carrying are adaptive coping/protective strategies to early childhood trauma. They are place holders, very useful in setting us free in assisting our journey home to wholeness.
Once we become aware of, acknowledge and understand our spots we can discover the core wounds that created them.
Once we are familiar with and make conscious the unconscious false beliefs that created them we can release or reframe them in a way that literally does change or dissolve our spots completely.

A: Yes If he/she desires to and takes the right course action consistently.

Managing Triggers in relationship
Following on from the post last week in my relationship mastery group about triggers in relationship being never about what its about and never about the other person. Here is an ancient piece of magic that can heal ruptures and de-escalate the seeds of conflict to avoid small resentments building into massive ones in an instant.
Ensure that both of you read this post ahead of time and are in agreement that you are both willing to give it a go next time either one of you triggers the other ie , does or says something or not does or not says something that the other feels aggrieved over.
As soon as you become aware that the energy between you is becoming strained, request to do the Hawiian prayer or poem (if the word prayer holds a trigger for you) Ho'oponopono.
Key here is that it matters not who is feeling aggrieved either party can instigate the healing process as soon as the rupture if felt.
Partner A: Are you available?
Partner B: Yes I'm available Now / No im still mad ill be available in an hour when I've calmed down
when you're both available given that you both agreed to the process well before the current rupture arose.
The partner who call for the prayer goes first .
stand or sit facing each other with eyes closed
take 3 deep breaths together
open your eyes with open expression and soft gaze
say the persons name and the following phases slowly and clearly with a full deep breath between each line to allow the energy of the words to be fully sent and received.
Name........
I'm sorry - deep breath
Please forgive me - deep breath
I love you - deep breath
Thank you .
Then swap roles and repeat.
Only caveat is must be sincere if your not able to be wait until you are. in some instances you can do it one way to the partner who is feeling aggrieved though not ready to send, this often opens them up to be able to, after they have received a sincere apology love and gratitude.

When ever we get triggered by our partner of close family member remember,
Its never about what its about and Its never about the other person despite how it appears and the emotions that arise.
When we get triggered by an event in the present moment by what the other says or does or not says or not does.
It often highlights areas in our psyche of growth attempting to happen the larger the trigger the greater potential.
With steady and diligent practice one may come to recognise all such events as opportunities for healing which can consistently contribute to a feeling of freedom, grace and wholeness.

MIND - The Foundation
How do we begin to gain mastery over our life? how do we create more of what we want in our experience of reality and less of what we don't want?
"All is mind" the universe is Mental - The kybalion
"He who grasps the truth of the Mental Nature of the Universe is well advanced on The Path to Mastery."
THE ALL (which is the Substantial Reality underlying all the outward
manifestations and appearances which we know under the terms of "The Material Universe"; the "Phenomena of Life"; "Matter"; "Energy"; and, in short, all that is apparent to our material senses) is SPIRIT, which in itself is UNKNOWABLE and UNDEFINABLE, but which may be considered and thought of as A UNIVERSAL, INFINITE, LIVING MIND. - The Kybalion
Ok so ...
in a simplistic summary.
The whole of reality we experience as " life" is created by a collective consciousness of all there is ,
All humans sharing this collective experience contribute to a lesser or greater degree and our subconscious minds account for the vast majority of "programme script" writing due to the superior creative power the collective subconscious over our conscious mind.
So returning to the opening question "how do we begin to gain mastery over our life? ...."
Despite being a far more dominant force in creating our external reality our subconscious mind responds to the nature and input of our conscious minds thinking, attention and awareness.
Knowing this is the Key.
Acting on it is the Work.
Think of the subconscious mind as a solid state drive that runs simulation programs for you "the avatar" to experience.
Then think of your conscious mind as the "programmer"
(It is a little more complex than this though my intention is to keep this brief)
To gain a level of mastery over mind and subsequently your experience of the universal collective mind we call " life " , discipline of your thoughts, words and actions attributed to your conscious mind is required.
Pay attention to what arises, I dont know about you I have all sorts of nonsense popping in my mind from time to time, witness the madness and let them go for they too will pass.
None of the thoughts that arrive in your conscious mind are yours until you own them.
Discernment is king.
Only validate the thoughts that arrive that are helpful and positive to think, allow the others to pass without fixation or attachment.
Energy goes where attention flows, focus your attention on what you want and you can also convert or replace negative thoughts into positive ones that you can make habitual.
doubt the doubts, believe the beliefs
One such consciousness hack I use daily is affirmations.
Create positive affirmations that communicate in the present tense that which you wish to experience and say them out loud a number of times a day whilst feeling the emotions of what it feels like for the statement to be true and before long it will be so.
Ie . The power of universal mind leads me and guide me in all that I do. I am so grateful and happy that my family and I have perfect health, an abundance of wealth , and the wisdom and guidance to live a life of fulfillment and aliveness aligned with our highest purpose. My life overflows with harmony, beauty, love and peace and I know feel and experience my sub-conscious mind responding to my conscious minds thinking.
