Happy New Year!!!
This is always a time where we can reflect on the year just passed and evaluate what we want to achieve in the coming year. Setting goals and commitments allow you to focus and give you a higher chance of success in achieving what you want. You can set them for your health, fitness, work and social, so if you haven’t done so already, I encourage you to take a few mins to jot a few things down on paper, set a time frame, make it quantifiable, give yourself a challenge, you can even set a reward for when you achieve it! Eg. I want to improve my fitness as a goal, turn this into something quantifiable: I want to run 5K by the end of March 2026. Or, I want to run continuously for 30mins by 31st March 2026, and when I have achieved that, I will reward myself with new trainers etc. you get the idea… good luck!!! I have written a few of my own commitments that I want to log for 75 days, I have set parameters for each of them, this helps me be accountable and establish new habits. May the year start as we wish go on.
