Hi, I’m Sam — a 52-year-old mum of six who decided at 50 that it was finally my time.

Like many women, I spent years putting everyone else first. But when I hit 50, I realised something had to change. I wanted to feel stronger, healthier, and more confident in my own body — and I knew other women my age probably felt the same. So I started with studying nutrition, because I wanted to understand how to properly fuel our bodies as we get older. But very quickly I realised something was missing…

Exercise. Strength. Movement.💪🏻💪🏻

That realisation led me to train as a Gym Instructor and Personal Trainer, and then go even further by qualifying in Boxercise and boxing coaching with the Hatton Academy.🥊🥊

My goal has always been simple:
To help women in their 40s and 50s feel strong, capable, and confident again.

Because let’s be honest — walking into a gym and being coached by someone half your age isn’t always comfortable. I wanted to create something different. A space where women feel understood, supported, and empowered.

I was once told that focusing on women in midlife was “too niche.”
But I believe it’s exactly where the biggest difference can be made.

This isn’t about quick fixes or shrinking ourselves.

It’s about getting stronger, building confidence, and feeling good in our bodies again. And if you’re a woman in your 40s or 50s who wants to start that journey — you’re exactly who I’m here for. 🩷🩷

Rachel has been with me from the very beginning 🩷

These photos say it all… but what you don’t see is the consistency, the effort, and the commitment she’s shown week after week. 🩷

She trains with me at least twice a week (sometimes three 💪), keeps up her boxing fitness classes, and has completely transformed not just her weight — but her strength, confidence, and body shape.

And here’s the truth…

This didn’t come from endless cardio.
This came from weights. 💪🏻🩷

Building strength has completely changed Rachel’s body — stronger, more defined, more capable.

I’m SO proud of how far she’s come 🔥

Last night’s circuit class looked like a pick-and-mix sweet shop… but for strong women! 🍬💪

Mint, peach, pink and purple dumbbells everywhere 🧡💜🩷💚 – the studio was full of colour thanks to the new weights. It might look cute, but these ladies were lifting properly heavy.

I’ve had to buy more weights because the stronger everyone gets, the heavier they need to go… and that’s exactly what I love to see at Sam’s Strong Girls Club. 🩷🩷

This isn’t about tiny pink dumbbells or “just toning”.It’s about getting stronger, more confident, and supporting each other every week. 🩷🩷

✨CLIENT SPOTLIGHT - NATALIE ✨

Natalie has lost an incredible 4 stone since joining Sam's Strong Girls Club, but what makes her journey so inspiring is everything else she's gained along the way.
In Natalie's own words:

"I've gained muscle, confidence, strength, stamina and possibly most importantly... friends." She also said something that really stuck with me:

"Exercise is something I've historically despised and avoided. Now I've found a love for exercise.”

And the reason she started 🩷

"I can now run around with my little boy for hours and not feel exhausted."

Natalie, your consistency and determination have been incredible to watch. You should be so proud of yourself. 🩷

Michelle absolutely smashed her session this morning.💪🏻🩷

She’s getting stronger every week and today she powered through 3.5 minutes on the battle ropes.💪🏻

Then 🎶 Simply the Best by Tina Turner came on… and Michelle started singing along while battling those ropes. Halfway through she decided she was going to keep going for the whole song — and she did it!

This is what progress looks like: showing up, pushing yourself, and surprising yourself with what you can do.
