Because who doesn’t love a fry up on a fry day 🤣🤣🤣

This afternoon’s companionship visit was eggstremely successful.

It’s usually a fish and chips night on a Friday but our lovely lady asked for a bit of meal preparation instead and we very rarely ever say “no can do” at Mariposa!

So cooking it was! Our visits are tailored to what ever our service users want from us.

Companionship and a bit of home cooked food..

🩷💙 this is what companionship looks like 🩷💙

It’s taking the time to listen to what our service user wants from our visit?

“Bored stiff, I just want to get out” she said 🥰

But then she decided she wanted a new sideboard, somewhere to put her cards. From the grandchildren and her girls as she has nowhere suitable.

So, off to New Starts we went and delighted to say that the new sideboard was hiding in there, like a little gem waiting to be discovered! 🥰 happy as anything! Bundled it into the boot and now it has a new home..

But not before we popped to the high street for a sandwich and a coffee ☕️ and a purchase of a new handbag! 👜 🤣

The time we spend with you is YOUR time to do what you want.. we just have the delight of coming along on the journey 🩷💙

🩷💙 this week..

We have taken a walk around our lovey town with a lady with restricted mobility, taking in some sights at St. John the Baptist church, it really is a very beautiful building. Filled with lots of history and in the grounds some famous people. ⛪️

One of our ladies wanted to go clothes shopping so off to Matalan we went and had lots of fun checking out the styles! She left very happy with some new additions to her wardrobe. 👖

Chaperoned a gentleman to have his ears syringed, and now he feels so much better 🥰

We’ve visited a lady whose family are away and assisted with meal preparation, medication prompting and some exercise walks with her sticks ☀️

Each and every one of out service users are an absolute joy to spend time with. We’d just like to say thank you to their families for putting their trust in us 🩷💙

A beautiful Sunday lunch on a beautiful Sunday 🍽️

Absolute pleasure to be company to our lovely lady during lunch today.

At Mariposa Community Support we do a lot of companionship with our clients, often for lunch, a walk or just a nice cuppa and a cake 🧁

We are asking local businesses to tag themselves so we can visit new places with our lovely people in and around the Bromsgrove area.

Coffee shops, quirky shops, places with a beautiful view, that are easy access as some of our ladies and gents have reduced mobility.

We would love to come and visit you 😍 tag away!
