We are Mariposa Community Support, a small team of support workers who can offer a large amount of support 🥰

Firstly we aren’t an agency, our staff do not wear uniforms but we do treat our service users like a member of our own family! We care, respect and support them, bespoke and personalised to your needs.

Mariposa Community Support we can help you with almost anything you need to make life a little easier. This could be long term or short term help.

We have had the absolute pleasure of being trusted by the family of our newest service user this weekend.

With the wind in her hair, we’ve been shopping for new earrings and a new handbag 👜 it was a pleasure to chaperone our new lady! And as if shopping wasn’t exciting enough!

Today we’ve been out for a carvery and a bit of pudding!

At Mariposa Community Support we can offer companionship, assistance with meal preparation, chaperones for shopping, and so much more.

💐💐 We just wanted to tell you about something wonderful, well we think it is.. (names have been changed to protect privacy) 💐💐

Dot is 87 years old and until recently lived up in the North East in a residential home. Her family live local to Bromsgrove and between them have decided that Dot should move closer, into their home which has been adapted to assist with her needs so they can enjoy time with her.

Dot is still very much independent but just needs a little help in day to day tasks and food preparation. Which is lovely 🥰

Dot’s family have entrusted us to help support Dot on a few weekends over the last few months to enable them to attend functions and weekends away. Making sure that she is very much in safe hands with people they trust. 🥰

We ensured that our support workers were consistent for familiarity and to ensure Dot felt safe, we did a meet and greet before hand, chatting with Dot to see what she required from us and how we can assist her - her care, her way 🩷 ensuring that we kept to her routine and respected her home and how best she wanted assisting. What a joy she is to support.

We do hope to see more of Dot in the future.

We are looking for a younger female to join our already wonderful staff portfolio 🩷💙

Specific criteria in order to meet the bespoke needs of one of our service users.

We are supporting a neurodivergent younger female who requires a similar aged support worker to assist every Thursday between 11am and 1pm with the possibility of extra hours to chaperone days out.

Hi, it’s Caz from Mariposa Community Support, I wanted to tell you about what we did today supporting one of our service users.

Our Deb has been busy in the kitchen with a gent who we support once a week for a few hours, today they have been shopping and selected the goodies to make home made spaghetti bolognaise 🍝

Together they have prepared it and home cooked it and done enough for a batch cook so it can be eaten at another time.

Whilst providing companionship we have helped support independent living with guidance on meal preparation. 🥰

This is one of the many, many ways we can support you at home, as well as a chaperone for shopping, we can assist you with your appointments as all of our supporters have their own transport and are fully insured.
