Raising Awareness for Mouth Cancer this month💙

This month was Blue Wednesday. We are raising awareness by sharing key signs and symptoms of mouth cancer.

Please take a moment to scroll through our photos — recognising these early indicators can make a significant difference in early diagnosis and treatment.

Some factors can increase the likelihood of developing mouth cancer, such as:

To***co use (smoking or smokeless forms)
High alcohol consumption
HPV (Human Papillomavirus) infection
Excessive sun exposure to the lips
Family history of head and neck cancers
Poor diet low in fruits and vegetables

By taking a few seconds to familiarise yourself with the symptoms, and factors that could increase the development of this Cancer, you could help protect your own health or that of someone you care about.
