Amazing Day yesterday being part of ‘Feeling Good’ week at a local primary school. The session themes focused on self connection and kindness.

Each session was tailored to suit each class and the children (& teachers!) took part in lots of Yoga, Mindfulness and Meditation based excercises and activities.

It was really lovely to see so many children getting involved and lots of little smiling faces 😊

Children’s Yoga classes aren’t quite the same as adult classes 😊 each session explores fun ways to introduce children to yoga practice and mindfulness through the use of songs, games and stories.

Physically, Children’s yoga helps to improve strength, flexibility, co-ordination and balance.

Mentally, it helps to promote self expression, imagination, confidence, self belief and kindness. Breathing and relaxation techniques can help children learn how to regulate their emotions.

It’s non competitive and there’s no right or wrong.
Just laughter, positivity, silliness and smiles 😊

Planning the week ahead? I have 2 spaces left on this Thursday 10.30am Yoga Session at The United Reformed Church in Broxbourne. £6.50 per child. Parents/Siblings are welcome to stay in the hall during the session. Aged 4 onwards.
