World Down Syndrome Day 2026💛💙

This year’s theme, Together against Loneliness, highlights the importance of belonging, meaningful connections and inclusion.

One popular tradition for World Down Syndrome Day is wearing odd socks, symbolising the uniqueness and diversity of individuals with Down Syndrome. This simple gesture promotes acceptance and celebrates differences.

Sign Of The Week: ‘Different Socks’

Celebrating World Down Sydrome day on Saturday 21st March. People wear brightly colored, mismatched, or odd socks to raise awareness. This global campaign, often called Lots of Socks, represents the uniqueness of individuals with Down syndrome.💛💙
