Happy Earth Day!🌱🌍

Here at Marshall Opticians, we always aim to do our best for the planet.

🧼 Our new 100% natural lens cleaner comes in a handy spray bottle which is refillable at our optic station. Great to use over and over again.

♻️We have recycling bins for both spectacles and contact lenses. The boxes are located at the front of the practices. Sometimes the frames are taken abroad to help those in need, or they are recycled and made into new items. Check out our chandelier!

🤓A selection of our brands make frames from bio-acetate which is a sustainable, plant-based alternative to traditional plastic.

Time for another peek at one of our favourite parts of our new Builth practice 👀

Our dispensing desk and side tables were sourced by Ken and Robin at Creative Wood Studios in Newbridge-on-Wye.

The wood was taken from a tree near Builth Wells Golf Club and made into our beautiful new desk. The round shelving was sourced near Rhayader and adds character to our new frame displays🤩🪵

We are just over a month since our move to our new practice in Builth Wells. We are extremely grateful for all of the lovely comments we have received.

If you haven’t yet had a chance to pop in to see us, we’ll be posting a few of our favourite parts…

First up…our chandelier 💡
Helen, our optometrist and director, decided she would love a feature light, and actually made it herself using some of the frames our patients had brought in to recycle! So not only is it stylish, it’s great for the planet♻️🌍

So remember to look up and see if you can spot your old frames 👀
