This Saturday 13th December we have a fantastic charity Tractor run starting from Builth Wells market at 6 pm. Lots of illuminated tractors, fancy dress, snow machine as well as Santa at the Strand hall.
Shops will be open until late and Wyeside Arts Centre has a fantastic array of Christmas crafts and local festive stall holders.

Love the new maps available from Builth Wells Heritage centre that depicts some of the the interesting places to visit when staying with us at Dan yr Eglwys holiday cottage.
Look out for for the iconic Builth Bull, Wyeside Arts Centre, The Builth mural, The pretty Wye river bridge or Builth castle mounds. Also, enjoy the beautiful riverside walk or visit the Prince Llewelyn memorial, Cilmeri and learn about the last independent Prince of Wales.
The high street has lots of interesting shops and fantastic cafes ☕️ and pubs to keep you well fed and watered too!

Where did the summer 🌞 go?
Thank you for keeping us busy at Dan-Yr-Eglwys Holiday Cottage, Mid Wales LD23RX. We loved meeting new holiday makers and welcoming back returning guests.

When you stay with us at Dan-Yr-Eglwys Holiday Cottage, Mid Wales it's well worth a short trip to the lavender farm just up the road. Farmers' Welsh Lavender
Beautiful lavender, amazing views and also some good 🍰 and teas/coffee.

The lavender is in bloom and we’re now open everyday of the week, 10-4.

Come for a wander in the lavender fields, the spectacular views, coffee & cake, our beautiful shop, a dip in the wild swimming pond, or head to the website to book your slot in our newly opened sauna!

With weather this great enjoy a glass of your favourite tipple in our private peaceful garden at Dan-Yr-Eglwys Holiday Cottage, Mid Wales whilst watching the woodpeckers, swallows and red kites overhead.
Or enjoy our book corner and relax with a vino and a good book.
If you prefer getting out and about take a walk over the hill to Pantyllyn Pool or to Farmers' Welsh Lavender just a short drive up the hill.

May has been a busy month at Dan-Yr-Eglwys Holiday Cottage, Mid Wales LD23RX.
We have packed in two bank holidays, Hay festival, a 30th birthday 🎉 the Spring Festival at the showground as well as an antique fair.
