So today is 'Love Your Pet Day' so it only seems right to do a pet post! Over the weekend we added Luna to our family and it is safe to say she has certainly settled in to her new home. Keep an eye out as she may make a special appearance in some future activities! 🐾

It is officially autumn and this has to be my favourite season! Whether it is supporting speech sounds or language development, I love trying to incorporate some autumn themed activities into therapy sessions including this ‘big’ and ‘little’ sorting activity 🍁🍂

Who says speech therapy can’t be fun! Speech therapy often involves a lot of repetition, so games are a great way to keep therapy fun and engaging.
‘Pop up pirate’ always goes down well, and is also a great way of promoting turn taking. Each time this game is played, it always manages to make me jump!

Hello, I’m Alice, an independent paediatric speech and language therapist based in Bungay, Suffolk. I studied BSc (Hons) Speech and Language Therapy at the University of East Anglia, graduating in the summer of 2019. The completion of my degree alongside paediatric placement granted me the valuable education needed to work with children within the speech and language setting and furthered my experience in the clinical setting. I continued my work within a nursery setting throughout my university studies, now seeing seven years of work in childcare.
Completing my studies and placements resulted in the desire to aid, help, and support children through their speech and language journey and so, 'Alice Grace Speech & Language Therapist' was created.
My role as a speech and language therapist is to provide your child/children with all the relevant resources and assistance to support them with their communication difficulties.
