🌟 Right to Choose Update 🌟

We wanted to share an important update regarding our Right to Choose assessments.

Unfortunately, we have now reached the maximum number of referrals we can accept under our current contract with the Norfolk and Waveney ICB. We received a very high volume of referrals, far more than we were expecting. This limit has been set by the ICB, and sadly, it means we are unable to take on any new Right to Choose referrals from this area at the moment.

We understand how disappointing this is for families waiting for support and we’re truly sorry. πŸ’› We don’t yet know when the ICB will review or reopen the referral limit, but it’s unlikely to be before the new financial year (April 2026). We’ll share any updates as soon as we hear more.

In the meantime:
✨ We remain open for private referrals.
✨ We can consider Right to Choose referrals from out-of-area families, but please note:
β€’ All assessments are face-to-face at our clinic on the Norfolk/Suffolk border.
β€’ We’ll need to seek agreement from your local ICB before booking your assessment.
✨ We’re also delighted to confirm that we are now on the GP list for families living in the Suffolk and North East Essex ICB area and we are open to Right to Choose referrals for children aged 6–18 in this region.

We know how important timely assessments are, and we want to support as many families as possible. However, we must work within the limits set by our contracts and commissioners.

Thank you so much for your understanding, patience, and ongoing support, it really means the world to our small team. πŸ’™

With warmth,
The CATS Team

🌟 Important Right to Choose Update for Families in Norfolk and Waveney 🌟

We want to keep our community fully informed. Under the Right to Choose pathway, the Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board (ICB) sets a fixed number of children we can see each year.

We have already received a very high volume of referrals for children in Norfolk and Waveney since opening, and it looks as though we will reach this allocation much sooner than expected.

To avoid creating uncertainty for families, we will not be operating a waitlist once our quota has been met, as we do not have control over when additional NHS funding may be released.

πŸ“Œ What this means:
β€’ Referrals already received will be processed next week (w/c 10th November 2025)
β€’ We will contact your GP to confirm whether we are able to accept your referral under Right to Choose
β€’ Once we reach our quota, we will temporarily close to new RTC referrals for children who live in Norfolk and Waveney.

Thank you so much for your understandingπŸ’™
