We were delighted to meet with Colin Lang MBE from Thrive Autism today and hear more about the charity’s vision. Thrive Autism supports neurodivergent children, young people and families across Norfolk and Waveney, while working towards creating Norfolk’s first dedicated Autism Centre. We are excited about the opportunity to work together and were pleased to discover such strong shared values around understanding, support, belonging and helping children and young people thrive.

We’re really pleased to share that CATS (Community Assessment Therapy Services) continues to grow, and due to increasing demand for our specialist services we are expanding our clinic locations.

As part of this growth, we are delighted to be working with Eudaemonia Group , running some of our clinics from their beautiful clinic rooms in Norwich.

This additional space allows our team to support more children, young people and families, providing high-quality assessments and therapy in a calm, professional environment.

At CATS, we are committed to improving access to specialist services, and expanding our clinic locations helps us reduce waiting times and ensure families can access the support they need sooner.

We’re excited about this collaboration and look forward to continuing to grow our services across the region.

This practical, down-to-earth session is for parents of highly sensitive children. Children who feel things deeply, become overwhelmed easily, and can have big emotional reactions to everyday situations.

Together, we’ll explore:

🌱 How it shows up in daily family life
🌱 Why mornings, homework and bedtime can so often turn into battles

✨ We’re so excited to share that from tomorrow, CATS OTs will be working from this amazing Sensory Integration clinic thanks to Grow OT ✨

This marks a really special step for us and we are so excited to use this calm and well-equipped space to deliver Ayres Sensory Integration® (ASI) assessments and intervention.

ASI is an evidence-based occupational therapy approach that helps children and young people make sense of sensory information so they can participate more fully in everyday activities. By supporting the brain’s ability to process and integrate sensory input, ASI can positively impact attention, emotional regulation, motor skills, confidence and independence.

This amazing clinic space is designed to support high-quality sensory integration assessment and intervention, using specialist equipment in a safe, welcoming environment where children can feel comfortable to explore, play and grow🩵🩷

A parent of a child on our Right to Choose pathway shared this with us after their child’s appointment, as soon as they got back in the car they said:

“Wow! That was so much more fun than I thought it would be, when can I come back and play games here again?”

They also took the time to thank our clinicians for being so welcoming, and for pitching the session just right for their child.
