When you’re in a vulnerable position, maybe anxious, unsure, or feeling a bit exposed, what do you want most from the person caring for you?

- Knowledge that you’re in expert hands.
- Kindness that puts you at ease.

This lovely review summed that up perfectly:
It’s such a privilege to support people through those moments with care, understanding, and clear guidance every step of the way.

Of course, I’d never film a real client, so when my friend volunteered to be the ‘client’, professionalism went straight out the window 😂

Here are the bloopers we just couldn’t resist sharing, we hope they make you laugh as much as they did for us! 😅

I love hearing feedback like this from new mums.

Helping women feel stronger, more comfortable and supported after birth is exactly why I do what I do.

This lovely client came in with postnatal back pain, and after just one session of tailored stretches, exercises and practical advice, she’s already feeling the difference 🙌

If you’re a new mum struggling with pain or discomfort, know that you don’t have to just “put up with it.”

Pelvic health isn’t just a postnatal concern, it matters at every stage of life.

My goal is to help women build confidence, gain knowledge, and feel empowered to take control of their bodies.

If you’ve been putting off seeking support, this is your reminder that it’s never too early (or too late) to start prioritising your pelvic health.

✨ World Menopause Day 2025 ✨

This year’s theme is Lifestyle Medicine and one of the most powerful ways to support your health through menopause is to build strength from the inside out.

Menopause isn’t just about hormonal changes such as hot flushes or cycle changes. The loss of oestrogen impacts muscle mass, bone density, and pelvic floor health - but the right movement can help your body adapt and thrive.

Strength training (including Pilates!) isn’t about pushing harder. It’s about creating a strong, supported foundation so you can move with confidence through midlife and beyond.

As a women’s health physio, I see so many women focus only on the pelvic floor. But when you combine pelvic floor work with full-body strength, the results are incredible.

If you’re ready to:

- Support your pelvic floor
- Build strength safely
- Feel more confident in your body

Join my online Pilates classes or book in a Menopause MOT.

Every woman deserves this kind of postnatal support 💕

Loved helping this lovely mama feel confident and cared for after birth. Postpartum check-ups aren’t a luxury - they’re essential.

After several years of running my clinic full-time, I’ve made the decision to return part-time to the NHS 💜

I’ll be supporting the Perinatal Pelvic Health Service - a role that allows me to support women who may not otherwise access pelvic health care, while also reconnecting with peer support and a brilliant team.

This isn’t me stepping away from the clinic… it’s about finding balance, looking after my own well-being, and choosing work that aligns with my values.

The clinic is still very much open, just with a little more space for life too.

Thank you for all your continued support 💛

Should I cancel my women’s health physio appointment if I’m on my period?

The short answer is: no!

You are still very welcome to attend your appointment if you’re feeling well. We can still perform an internal examination if you’re comfortable with that.

Please note, while internal examinations provide valuable insight into what’s going on for you, they are completely optional. If you don’t feel comfortable or want to discuss your options, we can do that during your appointment.
