Our residents enjoyed a lovely festive trip out to Birkacre garden centre this afternoon. The decorations, lights and Christmas displays were a delight- and the trip was finished off perfectly with tea & cakes! 🧑🏼‍🎄🎅🏼🧁🍰☕️🫖

Last week at Burscough Manor Care Home, we had a very special visitor — a friendly bearded dragon!

Our residents loved the hands-on experience and were full of smiles and curiosity. 🦎😊💛

Pyjama day fun at Burscough Manor

Staff and residents joined together for a cosy Pyjama Day in support of Pudsey Bear and ‘Children in need’. The home was full of smiles and laughter as everyone embraced the theme. A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the day so special 🩷❤️

Residents of Burscough Manor had a wonderful trip out to Blackpool, soaking up the famous illuminations. The dazzling lights along the promenade created a magical atmosphere, and everyone enjoyed the chance to reminisce and take in the sights.
No trip to the seaside would be complete without fish and chips, the residents tucked into the delicious meal before heading home……a great time was had by all.

Our residents are in for a frightfully tasty treat this Halloween! 👩‍🍳🕯️

The amazing kitchen team have been brewing up something special for the day — with a Halloween Lunch and Dinner Menu full of seasonal flavours and spooky surprises!

🕛 Lunch at 12:30pm
🍲 Roasted Pumpkin Soup with Rustic Rolls & Sandwiches
🍔 Or a Creepy Crispy Cajun Chicken Burger on a Beetroot Bun with Sweet Potato Fries
🍰 Followed by Passionfruit & Raspberry Cheesecake

🌙 Dinner at 5:00pm
🐟 Oven Baked Hake en Spookalotte
🍲 Or 8-Hour Slow Cooked Lamb & Pumpkin Witches One Pot Irish Stew
🧁 For dessert, Mini Red Devils Velvet Cake or Blood Orange Panna Cotta Tart
