Just incase anyone has missed the post from Repton sports centre, unfortunately I am having to cancel tonight’s Yoga class Repton Sports Centre 11/11 due to having a wisdom tooth out which has caused significant swelling and pain hindering my ability to talk.
All other classes this week will go ahead and I can’t wait to see you all very soon x

Hi everyone 👋🏻
In last week's yoga class, we focused on the simple yet powerful act of choosing joy 🙂 this means something different for every single one of us.

A reminder that happiness isn't something we wait for, but something we create within ourselves. 💫💫

As we moved mindfully through each pose, we practiced gratitude for our bodies, our breath, and the space that allowed us to slow down and reconnect.🧘🏻‍♀️
Every inhale became an opportunity to welcome lightness, and every exhale, a release of what no longer serves us. By showing up for ourselves, we honored our commitment to self-care and growth, recognizing that joy often begins in these quiet, intentional moments on the mat.
Take time for yourselves ❤️

Hi everyone 👋🏻

Grounding in yoga is the practice of connecting deeply with the present moment and the Earth beneath you, allowing body, mind, and spirit to align in balance and stability.
It’s about anchoring your awareness, feeling rooted even as you move through life’s constant changes. Physically, you can ground yourself by focusing on your breath, pressing your feet firmly into the mat, and engaging with postures like Mountain Pose (Tadasana) or Child’s Pose (Balasana).
Spiritually, grounding invites you to release distractions, surrender tension, and trust in the steady support of the universe. As you breathe, imagine roots extending from your body into the earth, drawing in calm and strength.
In the words of Rumi, “There is a voice that doesn’t use words. Listen.”
Grounding helps you hear that silent voice within, reminding you that peace and stability are already yours.

Hey Everyone👋🏻

This week in our yoga class, we welcomed the arrival of autumn with a practice dedicated to embracing change. 🍂🍂
Through mindful movement, grounding postures, and breathwork, we reflected on how the shifting season invites us to let go, create space, and find balance within ourselves. Just as autumn teaches us the beauty of release and transformation, our yoga practice reminded us that change can be a source of growth, renewal, and deeper presence both on and off the mat. Have a great weekend see you all next week❤️

This week we reminded ourselves to show up for ourselves ❤️
Showing up on our mats and coming as we are😊
No expectations, comparisons or judgements.
We reminded ourselves that it isn’t about doing it perfectly, it is about showing up for yourself- one breath, one movement at a time, building confidence, improving focus and feeling more grounded with every practice.
We allowed ourselves to truley notice how we feel and gave ourselves an invitation to move, breathe and connect with our body, breath and inner strength 😌
This connection can be found on our mats, and in our every day lives.
Looking forward to seeing you all next week.

Last week our yoga practice was focused on twists, which are wonderful for both body and mind.
Twisting movements help release tension in the spine, improve mobility, and gently massage the internal organs, supporting healthy digestion and circulation. They also boost blood flow, aiding the body's natural cleansing processes, and leave us feeling refreshed. Beyond the physical benefits, twists remind us to release what no longer serves us and to welcome a fresh perspective-both on and off the mat.

I hope everyone has had a great week🙂
This week we recognised the present moment and how using our breath can help us come back to that present moment.
In yoga, the present moment is where true awareness and calm can be found. By gently bringing your attention back to your breath, you create an anchor that steadies the mind and softens the body. This simple practice not only deepens your experience on the mat but also becomes a tool you can carry into everyday life—helping you find focus in busy moments, ease in times of stress, and a greater sense of balance both within and beyond your practice.

🎉📣📣Exciting announcement 📣📣🎉

I’m pleased to let you all know that I shall be holding two new classes at the fabulous Repton Sports Centre 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Don’t worry 🙂 I will still be holding the two wonderful classes that I have in both Winshill❤️ and Repton❤️

These additional classes will compliment the ones already running and will give you the opportunity to enjoy a faster paced vinyasa flow yoga class on Tuesday aswell as the well loved Restorative class every Friday relaxing and resetting yourself for the weekend and the week ahead using bolsters, blankets and props😴

Your mat is waiting👏🏻👏🏻- don't miss out!
New yoga classes start on the 9th September
Tuesdays and Fridays 6.15pm - 7pm
First Class is FREE 🥳 so what's stopping you
